Omg I found it on the part list! Glorious Hue+ nolonger have to be a "Custom Part"
You have full control over the lighting with the CAM software, each strips have 10 LEDs, you can literally customize every single LED node, not to mention NZXT's super sexy rainbow spectrum mode..!
It also adds a lot of spare cables inside of your case... (1x USB, 1x molex, 2x flat cables for LED strips)
To some extend the 16.8 million colour is a myth, you literally can't tell the difference in some of the hue/gamma difference due to human eye biological limitations.
But if you just want static colour lighting in your case then why would you spend £20 over some BitFenix Alchemy strips?
Gorgeous looking. Worth it for any build you plan on lighting up. The presets are nice in terms of variations and styles. Even more impressive, you can edit every LED and effect individually. Legendary.
Supports up to 2 channels, 4 strips each.
Can control each LED individually on each strip, allowing you to create pretty much anything you can think of.
Smart controls allow you to monitor PC performance at a glance by adjusting color based on performance.
Also has a music reactive mode; However the sensitivity is not controllable currently. With my current build I only get a show from the lights when the music is super dynamic.
Who doesn't like an LED party? my Life Every Day
You might want to wait for the next generation of this product, or when the market starts flooding with competitive products. This is not mature yet, for the price paid at least. But for me, it works well. Magnetic LED strips, customization, expandable, smart features, and the CAM software includes monitoring.
Had some trouble setting up the LEDs as the installation instructions are a bit basic, but once they are up, they really light the up the case. Even the basic 4 strips that come with the package are enough to cover a full tower case. You need to install the CAM software to configure the LED controller. The software can be a little buggy. Also, the LEDs will default to white lights when powered on, until the CAM software starts up. This is a little disappointing.
I got this as a free gift when purchasing motherboard, can't complain about that :)
Beautiful and simple RGB lighting kit. Advanced to the point where it has all these sweet features, simple enough that I understood how to use CAM immediately. Individual LED control seems very tedious although I never use it. There's no complete breathing rainbow option, which is unfortunate, but not a problem. The "Spectrum Wave" still moves too quickly at the slowest speed for my taste but I don't mind too much. The setup was a bit finicky, with the 4 pin LED cable being one sided. In the end, I didn't use the adhesive because I could just stick the strips into crevices in my case and have it stay, but a magnetic option would be nice. A good plus is that the white is actually a decent white.
Edit: A week later and the device is very inconsistent when I wake it from sleep mode, sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't, if I wake it from sleep mode when it was set to a solid color it doesn't turn on at all and only resetting it in Cam fixes the issue.
Works great. Lots of customization.
Great options, and my only concern is the price.
