Went with a 1060 graphics card for my 1080p 60Hz monitor. So far it works great and can handle the games and software I use. Bought it during an Amazon prime sale. However, there's only one HDMI port.. not sure if this is the norm, but it'll need extra cables to connect a second monitor.

Works great. I don't want to get into frames or performance that much. You can Youtube that. I will say this card had very bright LEDs on the fans. Luckily the Phanteks Evolv Shift hides the card behind the MB so it doesn't matter that much. The fans do a good job of pulling heat from my M.2 drive however that's on the back of the board.

Msi, oh, Msi... how should I even begin this review. In retrospect, this is an affordable graphics card that offers a great gaming experience. In the time that it ran, it could run anything I wanted, even Star Citizen. However, this gpu caught fire and burned down my entire build. I lost everything. What did MSI do? Nothing. If you buy this graphics card, don't be afraid to watch all of your hard work, money, projects, games, and memories burn away with no reconciliation.

If MSI made a graphics card that wasn't more resourceful for a bonfire than a computer build, then I would recommend this component in your next starter/mid-tier build. Also, do not buy MSI products if you expect to have a reliable customer support that genuinely cares about your issue. One last thing to take note of, finding out product information and using MSI's support system is likewise to a labyrinth: you will be confused, you will get lost, and you will only end up frustrated.

Not much experience in this department, but it was easy to install and has run consistently fine. Warmest I've seen it get during stress testing (Heaven benchmark) was aroun 69-70 degrees. Fans are pretty quiet for me.

Can handle every game I throw at it, high ultra, 60-120fps

This is the best thing about the build. Had to choose between GTX 1060 and RX 480, toughest decision ever made.

Definitely a good 1060. Very quiet.

Originally planned on getting a 1050ti but again decided to "future proof it" and get the 1060. I was also going to get an all white asus gpu but this one ended up being cheaper after a rebate. Works good so far.

I'm really impressed with this GPU. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. I was consistently getting around 126 fps on Valley Benchmark with temps never above 71C. Which I felt was great for such a cramped case.

from completed build Game Development/Minor Gaming

As stated earlier, I really did not need to get this, but it's nice to know I have the power if I want to run any game I have at 1080p on Ultra (or w/e setting is the max for games). If you are curious, it runs CSGO at frame rates way higher than anyone would ever need (iirc 800+ with frame rate cap off) and GTA at a good 90 FPS at 1080p on maxed settings. Rocket League's cap is 250 and it never dips below 250, but the temperature for all the games really makes the inside of the computer toasty, maybe around 70 C for the GPU. Slight downside is that is doesn't stop when idle but I can't even hear it so there are zero problems.
