I can't speak to the air cooling on this card - as I've obviously replaced it with a water cooling block. It is performing exactly as I expected, however.

1080 is higher than 1070, and this Gpu is faster than my old 1070 was. Coincidence?

Bought it use for 450 CAD, so at that price it's a steal because it performs very well. It's 1080, it says it all.
Card specific wise, it's well made, the backplate is a nice touch and so is the RGB logos. It does not make a lot of noise (near silent) and only using 1 8 pins connector. At max loads, it runs around 67 degrees, but it's heated by my AIO cooler.

Bought this GPU on eBay for $350, for that price its hell of a deal. This card works perfectly fine. Except no RGB, but for that price, can't complain.

I built the PC with a EVGA 1060 3bg and just upgraded to this. Its powerful runs all games smooth and hasn't giving me any problems. only downs is it doesn't have any LEDS which id like at least the logo to light up.

Surprisingly small form factor, sporting the same length but thinner than my Gigabyte G1 GTX 970. I managed to fit it in the Thermaltake Core V1 case without much difficulty (slided right in from the front of the case). The programmable RGB LED on top is also a nice touch. The fans are also quiet which is another plus.

Simply a dream, does great work, low temperatures because of the three fans.

So this one was a risk, it doesn't seem like it but I bought this just a week before the new RTX cards that I have no interest in but this was going to have an effect on prices pre and post launch. This card was super cheap for what I got it for at purchase let alone now where cards are now much more expensive due to the new generation of cards being a poor performer. Aside from this, the card is a huge upgrade for me from a 750Ti; I am blown away by the performance metrics this chucks out. Despite being an overclock card, I managed to get some extra performance from it. It also stays cool and quite even under load and I rely cannot stress how good this card is.

from completed build When $1500 becomes $2700
I am very happy with this purchase. Not only did I get it for $100 below msrp for the reference card, but it works very well. I need to find a solution to it sagging on the right side.
