RGB is a great feature. Aesthetically, this mobo is top notch and super sexy. There are a lot of great features like VR ready/ boost. Everything is great, however there are only 4 sata ports and the m.2 slot placement isn't very good: heating could be an issue for the m.2 slot. Overall, extremely easy bios to navigate and has some great features. The price is a bit steep since you could spend an extra $10 for an ASRock x370 mobo.

So far, amazing. Can not comment on overclocking yet but everything else works brilliantly. Aesthetics and LEDs are on point. (although the gaming pro and MSI logos on the I/O and chipset covers are covered up by my rear fan and GPU) BIOS is very easy to use and provides every option you could need. I have not had a custom PC before but had heard that on the x370 GPC board post times are slow? may be the case here as well but for me is still very quick. I love the upgraded audio chip, which is the same as the x370 board. All the headers and connections are well organized and accessible. My only complaint is the M.2 slot.... as you can see in the pictures of this board there is a somewhat large gap at the bottom of the board where I guess PCIe lanes are on higher end boards, and MSI really messed up by not putting the M.2 mount here. BUT they made the terrible decision to put the ONLY slot directly under the GPU slot... (face palm). Other manufacturers now at least place it above the GPU slot, but it does get hot especially under full load inside the M.2 shield cover. The X370 board has a second M.2 at the bottom in this location, so I don't see how it would have been that hard to use that location instead. Will still give it 5 stars but this really should have been thought of for a $135 board.

I have no complaints about this motherboard. It works perfectly and adds sparkle with the customizable colors ;).

This motherboard is serving me great! I had to run a bios update so I could use my processor, but that is pretty much it. fan and usb connectors are well placed. DO NOTE, if you are looking for a RGB motherboard don't get this one the LEDs are dim, yellow looks green, purple looks pinkish, white is very blue and there is no orange Also the 7 lighting effects, off and on is a effect...
