Nice mini ITX mobo, when installing the EK Supremacy CPU Block I had to cut the rubber backplate quite a bit because there were things on the back of the mobo that were stopping me from putting the whole backplate on. The BIOS is really easy to use.
This board is high on the price end but it was worth the expense in my mind.
The MSI Live Update utilities seem to have some issues with the latest round of drivers and patches but so far everything outside of the .17 version of command center installed manually.
It was a lot smaller than I was thinking but performs very well.
Doesn't get much more prettier then this in Mini ITX form. Works perfectly out of the box with excellent instructions!
The motherboard has been good. It supposedly has high end audio including discrete DAC and headphone amplifiers, and although I am not extremely impressed with the quality when it is driving my high end planar magnetic headphones, it's probably better than my macbook's sound card. I had to update the motherboards BIOS in order to drive my ram at the advertised 2800 mhz.
Great Motherboard. Very easy to install, as I'm a first time builder, everything went great.
Tiny, powerful MBU. Great for small builds. Comes with many features for a small board.
I wish other board makers would follow ASUS and invest a little more in the complementary software that is provided with the motherboard. Fan control was something I was looking for heavily, and, although this motherboard did have satisfactory fan control options in the BIOS, I wish that the same settings could be accessed from inside Windows via software. Otherwise, I've had no issues with the board / drivers. Would recommend.
A lot of features packed into this tiny board, including very fast WiFi and a boat load of SATA and USB headers.
Only disappointment is it's hamstrung support for longer M.2 drives, however that didn't bother me as I am using a regular 2.5" SATA drive.
The quality of this product is ok, and only one SYSFAN and CPUFAN, so you may need an extra molex converter and a Y splitter for your case fans under the GPU.
Another issue is that you can't directly attach a 2280 (80mm) M.2 drive to it. it's longer than this mobo can fit, however you may try double-sided tapes to stick to it. 2260 and 2242 should fit without any problem.
JFYI I already had a Samsung 850 Pro before this build so this is not an issue for me.
