Great monitor. Very crisp pixels, the 165Hz is awesome - coming from 85Hz on the XR341ck, I feel now I finally can at least see where to aim! CRTs have finally been passed IMO.

Pros: Essential for games like CS:Go and Quake Live or anything that's moving fast. No coil whine. Excellent settings menu / navigation with joystick.

Cons: Sound is poor, black levels could be better, slight IPS glow in the corners but that's only noticible when the screen is black. And it's not ultrawide :-)

the most expensive piece of hardware I bought.. ever! coming from 1080p @60Hz TN panel, this is a dream come true. cool looking bezel, beautiful panel and all the specs you want and more!

I was able to test it on the store and they opened the screen and show you it doesn't have any deffects. so far no problems and looks perfect.

Not that its working 100% of the time I am very happy , had a faulty DP cable prior. Which was annoying to say the least. Minimal BLB and bleed. I recommend it if you have the money.

Love this monitor! I bought mine used through amazon and it has little to no back-light bleeding. Monitor handles everything i throw at it with super high refresh rates.

This display is absolutely beautiful. I got lucky with the panel lottery and got a good one from Amazon on my first order. Gaming at 165hz with G-Sync on is amazing, I cant go back to playing on a 60hz monitor anymore.

The only complaint I have is that there is a glitch where a slice of the middle of the screen moves over to the right or left of the screen randomly. The only way to get rid of it is to turn the monitor off and on again. ASUS says its a firmware issue that can be remedied by sending the monitor back to them to get it reflashed, but I'm wary of sending it to them as I'm afraid I'll receive a defective refurb back. It's a damn shame because otherwise the monitor is absolutely perfect.

this monitor is amazing; absolutely love it. Before this I had a 60hz 1440p IPS monitor that I thought was great but this thing is on a whole new level. I purchased it refurbished from newegg and could not be happier. I just wish it had one more displayport

A little bit of IPS glow, but only noticeable on a completely black screen.

Was a stunning monitor at first glance. But, after about 2 hours of use the backlight bleed grew on the monitor. You don't notice it in games but loading screens and just black images will show the bleed. It's not that much, but just enough to annoy me and downgrade 2 stars. It's extremely responsive and looks amazing though.
