from completed build Devil's Advocate - PC & Setup

If you're wondering if you should go with a 16:9 144hz monitor or a 21:9 at a lesser refresh rate, definitely go with the 21:9. The extra space not only allows for more immersive gaming experiences, but is also beneficial in the sense that it acts similarly to a dual monitor setup during desktop activities.
