Probably the cheapest 27" IPS 144Hz monitor out there, and it's beautiful. FreeSync and Gsync models are differentiated with only a single letter in their model number and the price tag.

Same panel as the one above, but supporting 144Hz and Free-Sync. (Yes I know, Free-Sync is an AMD thing, but I valued the IPS aspect of this display over the G-Sync of the ROG Swift, and the new Swift that was IPS -and- G-Sync was not out yet, and probably would cost upwards of 8-900 dollars.)

This is the nicest panel I have ever used, and my first experience with any resolution above 1080p. (Is this what the masterrace feels like?) Small amount of backlight bleed when the screen is dark, but it's to be expected from an IPS panel. I know I'm missing out on the FreeSync by using this monitor with an Nvidia card, but I am very happy with the price I found it for on Newegg.

These monitors are beautiful (and, no s*** they should be, given the price). I chose these over the ROG Swift due to the inclusion of IPS (The IPS ROG Swift wasn't out yet when I got them, and I didn't want to pay 800$ each/300$ more just for G-Sync). 2 of them have a little bit of IPS glow when the display is black, but it doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it to be honest. 144Hz is bomb. If your friend tells you "60 Hz is good enough" or the classic "The eye can't see more then 30 FPS" statement, go tell him to (insert mean thing here). Recommend.

To be honest im somewhat disappointed, it lacks alot of the features you will see on other monitors at the price point like low framerate compensation, not to mention it falls out of freesync range quite frequently with the 580 I was using beforehand (probably because of the 2k res). On the upside it does do everything it says it will, ips 1440p freesync with nary a dead pixel and that is very enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend going to 1440p with this generation of gpu's though, too expensive.

I've had this a couple years and I've had a love / hate relationship with it. The performance is excellent. There was a scanline issue right down the middle of the screen while running at 144hz that needed to be fixed with a firmware. Unfortunately, it had to be shipped off to get fixed. Other that that, it's been an excellent monitor. The freesync range is a little weird - 35 - 90hz is all, but most AAA games at 1440p don't really exceed that anyways. I like the IPS panel. I like the colors. Whites are good and it's easy to read text. I couldn't go back to a TN panel after using an IPS monitor for a while. I debated about 4k, but I don't think they are ready for prime time yet. This monitor is a gamer.

Best freesync monitor, no dead pixels, no backlight bleed, no headache, awesome!

Face-melting picture. I know this is a FreeSync monitor and I have a Nvidia card, but really, I wanted 1440p and 144z on an IPS or VA panel, and this is it in a package that was ~$200 less than a G-Sync. In the end, I couldn't justify spending much over $500, much less $750+. I am stepping up from a 32” 720p Samsung TV, so gaming on this has blown my socks off. I had no idea textures could look so rich.
