Who needs an optical drive in 2016? Well, you don't need one, but it has good sentimental value...

Affordable, quality unit (though there was some clicking coming from the drive). Could install Windows 10 with no issues

Not so much to say here, it doesn't look any good TBH but I don't really care since I haven't bought it for its aspect (the front panel of my case does its job hiding it as it's supposed to do).

A simple DVD writer. Bought cause the case had the ODD slot :D

The two optical drives are overkill, but I just thought they would look nice in the drive trays on top. They are working fine for me so far.

Sticks a bit when it slides out. Bit noisy. Would use an external DVD drive in future as the cost is not much higher and it cleans up the build.
I can't understand how people do without an optical completely though - I always need to load the mobo drivers to get the network up and running.
