The fans don't spool up until there is decent load, so most of the time it stays silent.

Better than the Sapphire version, and better than my old card. Keeps itself cool with my fan curve and never ceases to amaze me

This GPU is better than 1060 6GB in my opinion and cost less than it. Perfs are good in gaming

from completed build Overkill? What's that?

Originally planned on the 390(X) but this card is cheaper and better, so why not get it? Works out perfectly for me, can play every game I throw at it on High/Ultra on the 75 FPS my monitor appreciates. It's also fully silent when idling and still relatively quiet on 100% fans. And it's cooled very well by the three fans.

I was skeptical about purchasing AMD after all the reviews and history I've read. So far I haven't had any problems and am very satisfied especially for the price.

I like this GPU and I shouldn't. It is not fast. The specs have it at 1180mhz I think on the site but this guy runs at 1310Mhz. I have tried overclocking it and the video became very stutter prone. Overclocking also killed my Cinebench score dropping from 126 fps to 106. The dialog box to close Cinebench was also transparent and unusable. Running at out of the box speeds of 1310 is the option with this GPU. Why do I like it? It was cheap at 190.00 open box. It also completes the build aesthetic keeping with a Strix core of MOBO and GPU combining Aura lighting effect in tandem.

Now that I've had this card for over 6 months I've increased the stars to 5. It is underpowered in the grand scheme, but for 1080p gaming it gets the job done. More importantly, it gives the 200-300 dollar segment another choice to build with.

Not as impressed with this card as I thought I would be. Overclocking is a bit sketchy and has crashed on me a few times, most likely user-error but still. I'm waiting for VEGA either way. This is just a checkpoint for me.

Great GPU, Asus strix, RGB lighting is good but ASUS did not add a white led to the RGB config to get a "true white" color, still looks good though. 8 GB, plays all games on ultra/high 60-100+ FPS. Slight coil wine, but a headset/loud game can suppress. Overclocked to 1350MHz.
