from completed build Blue Ice 2.1 - Enter 1440p

Coming from two 970's in SLI, this card is a treat. It runs better than both of those cards combined and I'm very satisfied with my improved 1440p performance. This is a placeholder however until the 1080ti or Titan P are released. Since this model is factory overclocked, I wasn't able to get much further of an overclock out of it. I wasn't able to get a stable overlock at the coveted 2100mhz, but I'm right on the cusp at 2088!

Plays Witcher 3 completely maxed out with hair works off at 60fps+.

Keep in mind this card is huge because of the three fan cooler. Make sure you check case compatibility.

The Aura lighting is a lot of fun! I had issues downloading it from the included disc however. I attempted to download it twice from their website before being successful.

The fans have yet to kick in that are plugged into my card. It honestly doesn't need the additional cooling. In SLI it would be more useful with the added heat.

This is easily one of the most aesthetically pleasing cards available right now. It manages to look good without being too gaudy and it will fit in with any build theme due to the simplistic grey/black and RGB lighting.

Beautiful brand new addition Asus GTX Strix 1070 card. Performance is outstanding at 1080p and every game so far including Starcraft 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Witcher 3 all maxed out on my Asus 1ms gaming monitor averaging well over 60 frames per second on all of them. Have not tried 4k yet but will hopefully once I get enough scratch for a monitor. Picked this card to future proof my rig a bit and get it VR ready.

Cons were the availability and the price was pretty steep being almost half my build cost. I got lucky and went on Newegg at 3am and they got some in-stock so I ordered one. They ran out the next morning.

from completed build Gaming Build - RGB Edition

Had a lot of trouble sourcing this. The card was out of stock everywhere. Finally got lucky with some stock on NewEgg and ordered it right away. The card sold out the next day. The card is quite big but smaller than the Zotac AMP Extreme version. The RGB LEDs look great and performance is absolutely fantastic. I havent even used the OC mode yet. Havent seen the card hit 60 degrees yet even under heavy gaming.

from completed build My Gaming pc [Update 2]

This is the best gpu i ever bought yet, i had a gtx 760 before but needed something stronger for coming games and possibly the htc's Vive. Works perfectly, not louder than my previous and gets much better performances wich is expected. 5/5 would buy again.

Looks great, performs great, the only thing is the RGB LED's bleed out the sides which takes away from the feel, thats literally the only draw back making it a great card. Love the 2 HDMI ports.

Great card and completely silent at idle! Overclocking is good even for the non-OC'd edition, as long as you know what you're doing. My results are 2110 Ghz Boost Clock from 1721 GHz, and Memory clock boosted 8688 GHz from 8008 GHz.

Now I build this PC in February of this year but, I’m only now posting my PC because, I didn’t have all the parts that I wanted and it didn’t look as nice as I wanted it to look since the CableMod Widebeams were out of stock for so long. I first started off with a Strix 960 4Gg card and I played MOBAs on ultra and some triple A titles on high. It went well and I enjoyed the card but, then my girlfriend at the time wanted to get me another one so we went for a 970 Strix. I would’ve gotten the 980 but I felt bad her spending money on my hobby. Finally, I preorder the Strix 1070 Oc edition off of B&H and I totally forgot that I did. So one day I saw this hefty charge on my debit card and realized I had just bought a new GPU. I had time to cancel the order but, I really wanted it. Didn’t need it though. Lol This GPU is a monster and has tackled all the games that I have thrown at it in amazing performances.

This card is of amazing construction, and it's performance is astounding! Unless you want the very, very best, get one of these. The first game I got to put this card through it's basics is Rise of the Tomb Raider, and it looks gorgeous. Doom can be cranked into it's ultra and nightmare settings too with this beautiful beast.

Make sure you get NVidia GeForce Experience for driver updates, and go to the Asus support page to download GPU Tweak II to get the overclocking, 0DB fan control, and the Aura module to control the RGB lighting

Solid performance, effective 3 fan design, 2 4-pin GPU controlled fan headers, and cool LEDs (can be controlled by Asus Aura LED software, can be set to static, pulse, strobe, change with music, change with temperature, etc.). Price was alright, purchased new from eBay for $420.23.
