from completed build Black & White: An awesome all-rounder
Really impressed with this actually - a very comfortable, capable and non-showy headset. Sound quality is awesome particularly using the USB adaptor dongle.

Cheap, comfortable, and sound pretty decent. I have never used the mic so I can't say much for that. For the price though, these are hard to beat in that price range.

from completed build IT ALL WORKED OUT - Mid-Range, Budget PC
For $50, this is the best headset I've ever had in my whole gaming experience. Sound is perfect and bass is just right which can all be customized through the iCue program from Corsair. The quality of mic is also incredible. Only minor issue I currently have is that the mic has to be detached if you want it out of the way. Some headsets have it so that the mic is flipped up. This is just a minor inconvenience for such a great performing headset for the price.

great for their price. affordable and sleek, but the dongle is terrible. using the dongle allows you to use corsairs surround sound, but it is not real surround sound, its a kind of digital, emulated version. it sounds terrible. it adds a lot of artifacts to whatever youre listening to. i dont think it would bother the average person, the other reviews don't seem to mind.

For the price, these are amazing. The surround sound is pretty bad, but the 2.0 is very nice. Corsair's iCUE software is pretty good, and I was able to throw my preferred EQ settings in very easily. One very minor thing is the plastic on the outside makes it look like it might be open backed, while it is most definitely not.

from completed build Please help me with cable management
It works, except I didn't see the mute mic button, and spent a while trying to figure out why the mic wasn't working...

I ended up getting the cordless version of this for an extra $15 and I'm glad I did!

These are great headphones! they are very comfortable and are a great value if you ask me. 7.1 surround is nice, and the mic arm is one of the best. The mic isn't the best but it will get the job done.
