Nice little cheap SSD that I use as a boot drive. Never had one die or fail on me.

Good price for a fast SSD. With the prices of much larger capacity SSDs coming down it does make it hard to recommend a smaller capacity one at this price.

Great for OS and other apps to make that boot time just a bit quicker.

In being overly anal and trying to snag the best price on the 850 Evo SSD, I tactlessly got terrible shipping speed. That said, i got a nicely discounted rate, so I justified it by buying this little guy so I could boot and not wait. This was my temporary solution to waiting until Labor day - it is running great!

These are the older, heavier SSDs from a few years back. I got a bunch on eBay to see if RAID would make them more competitive. Verdict: OK, I guess. More of a complication than a breakthrough, but it's working.
