Awesome card. Fast, quite and cool with a really sexy backplate and simple rgb logo. Fits in great with any build!

Performance wise, it is very good. Rainbow 6, GTA 5, Far Cry 4, all exceeded my expectations. You can count on this to play 1440p at 60 fps with a mix of ultra-high-medium settings for sure.

Temperature and Noise wise; it is terrible. The built in fan curve spins the fans only after 60°C, of which at 70°C the card always shuts off to not overheat. I made sure the max tempature was 85°C and made a custom fan curve, of which I also saved. The curve would not implement itself unless Afterburner was running in the background. The fans after 40% sounded LOUD, and I have a very high tolerance for fan noise.

The card shut off randomly sometimes, which I ruled for overheating although it was only at 70°C. Either the card is weird and shuts off at 70°C, or I received a lemon. When the card shut off it also killed the display, sound and whole PC with it. I always had to do a hard reset and hope it didn't do it again.

If you're looking to buy this, don't do it. I don't have beef with Sapphire, I just have beef with this particular card. If you don't want to test your luck go for the Gigabyte Aorus RX 580 or Gaming X 580 by MSI. Don't buy it.

Excellent! With the 1411 mhz factory overclock, I get a cool 90 fps on BF1 at ultra settings 1080p- just what I wanted for this price range! It was difficult to find this card for a decent price since the mining craze, but well worth the wait. 5/5

Not the card I originally ordered, and with Newegg's terrible return policy (a completely separate rant) but they sent me this instead of a special edition. After a few hours on the phone I managed to get a 60$ rebate and ended up scoring this card for 240$ which is actually a pretty good deal considering that it's a 1080p beast.

Not quite back at MSRP, but the price was acceptable to me. Sure I could've gone with something cheaper from ASRock, XFX, or PowerColor, but this card looks great, has a nice backplate that matches my mobo, and has better power delivery if I do decide to overclock.

Very nice looking gpu, I have seen alot about people experiencing shutoffs, but they haven't happened to me.. The software is horrible and slow though, so that will remove stars.

Replacement for my 480 Nitro and 580 GTS. Runs cooler and quieter than both of my previous cards at the cost of a couple of extra watts at the wall.

Really awesome card that I'm glad I was able to get my hands on for a reasonable price.
The RGB is tasteful and easy to control, the backplate has a cool design without going over the top, and the dual fan + heatsink combo keep the card cool -- even under load.

A nice neutral-colored card with a backplate that didn't break the bank. Opted for a 580 over a 1060 as I didn't want to have to pay a price premium for a G-Sync monitor.
