Keyboards good nice feedback sometimes too much sound like when typing at night I kinda go softer to not wake up everyone in the next room, and with dedicated media keys. Keyboard has no internal memory you have to press scroll lock on each boot to enable backlight otherwise you won't be able to read the keys. Mouse is pretty bad out of the box the scroller squeeked and it's too small for wired desktop mouse your hand will cramp up DPI switch also doesn't have memory. The wire is standard too not braided so it gets in the way.
Good cheap keyboard/mouse that doesn't look like garbage. Keyboard is a bit loud for my liking, but the mouse is surprisingly nice.
only bought it for the keyboard. it was the only one in stock. keys arent terrible and the red LED isn't bad. EDIT: keys suck. just dont unless you cant do anything else.
I'll split this review in two sections, the mouse and the keyboard.
Mouse: The mouse is decent. The adjustable DPI is nice, as well are the LEDs, but the mouse has a few problems too. Whenever I turn off the computer or unplug the mouse, the DPI setting resets to the lowest setting. It also doesn't have a up/down switch for DPI, but it just cycles through instead. The angled edges make it hard to use for long periods of time as well. I'd give the mouse 3/5 stars.
Keyboard: The keyboard, on the other hand, is excellent. While it's never going to beat a mechanical keyboard, the long travel time, and high actuation force make it really nice. It has a satisfying clicky feel, and honestly it's probably the best you're ever going to get with a mechanical keyboard. My only gripe is that every time I turn off the computer, the LEDs reset to the off state, although that's something you can fix easily with some registry editing. I'd give the keyboard 5/5 stars. Again, it's not going to beat a good mechanical keyboard, but if you can't afford one, this is probably one of the best membrane keyboards you can get.
Overall: While the mouse isn't as good as the keyboard, it's not bad, and it'll still work great for gaming. The keyboard more than makes up for that though, even with the mouse included in the price. For the value, I'm going to give this 5/5 stars.
Only gripe with this is the lights on the keyboard won't turn on on boot so I'm basically stuck with permanent scroll lock.
Perfect affordable LED memchanical keyboard and the mouse is actually quite comfortable after some use. I have noticed the wheel on the mouse is beginning to squeak frequently. The keys are comfortable and feel great when pressed. Perfect for the budget gamer.
Extremely cost effective and really nice for the price
Good Budget keyboard and mouse combo
Newegg 19.99 after rebate. Sweet I was worried due to review online marking this as cheap and falls apart. Seems solid so far and smooth really impressed. 1 year later all lights work great mouse clicks are soft and precise. Keys a little loud but hell for 20 bucks. Give me again cooler master.
It works. Though the backlight isn't bright enough/the keycaps are not transparent enough to really see the keys unless you're looking from a basically top-down view. Doesn't have the backlight on when you turn your PC on. Pretty cheap, get something better.
