Wondered why I hadn’t seen the qvo around much, only the evo, but this was a lot cheaper and is working perfectly

Runs really good and so much better then noisy HDD. I use this as my game drive and have had no issues. Highly recommend.

Cheaper than an EVO, probably just as good, I dont read too much into details. Its fast, it works. Good enough.

1TB from a trusted brand for USD$87. Works fast so far and it looks good.

Used as storage for all games and it certainly beats any mechanical drive at any given day. Booting games and slow loading times are a thing of the past with HDDs.

Probably my biggest regret of this build. Should've spent £10-15 more and gotten a MX500. Was using it as my boot drive for around a month and during large transfers such as game installs, it really struggles. Was running like a hard drive during my ES:O install. Don't really recommend it if you have it as the only drive in your system - get a better TLC drive instead. However, this is still a samsung drive and it should be perfectly fine as secondary/game storage - still alot better than a HDD because of the reduced load times and for small read/writes (<40gb) it'll do a good job.

from completed build Long March (i7-9700K, RTX 2070S)

Honestly? I would have gone with an MX500 if I could have at the time of purchasing, but the 1TB and 2TB models were entirely sold out at the time. This is a pretty respectable mass storage SSD, as well, but as is tradition, you're effectively paying a Samsung tax to get it. I'm happy enough with it for storing my archived photos/documents, as well as my less intensive games, though.
