Blog Post "NZXT S340 Build"

BaSkA 1 point 53 months ago

Forgot to mention I don't live in any real country (like the US, Canada, Australia, any country in Europe), I live in a place where anything technology related is 3 to 4 TIMES (believe me) the real price here. So, if I were to get a 970 in the US it would be $400, right? If I were to buy one here, it would be about $1100 + conversion. So yeah, I can sell my old 770 1 year of usage for $500.

If I were to sell it in the US, I'd be asking for 250~300 as you said.

About the 980... I don't really want to get it because I'd need a better PSU which is then more costs... I'll be importing the video card so the cheaper the better. As the 970 is so amazing, I think it has a good bang for the buck.

Blog Post "NZXT S340 Build"

BaSkA 1 point 53 months ago

It's amazing how a 4GB 970 is pretty much the same price as the 770... and they discontinued the 770.

What should I do to my 4GB 770 now? Go SLI or sell it and get a 970? (I can sell the 770 for 500$ LOL).

HeyDan83's Completed Build: My Gaming Rig: Now with water cool!

BaSkA 1 point 53 months ago

I know... all my friends have it and it is the most comfortable mice I have ever used. However, as you said, after some times problems always show up, which's sad... thanks anyway!

Blog Post "September Build Guides"

BaSkA 2 points 54 months ago

In both the $1000 and $1200 builds, there are Microcenter pink-up only deals.. that's kinda sad! Also, I don't think the H100i in the $1200 build is worth it, the $1000 build CPU cooler is more than enough.

Pretty nice idea and I wish to see more options in higher price ranges!

Thank you.

Are you mad? A good case is a case in which you can fit what you need... but you can always buy a case that doesn't fit - inside I mean.

Sorry "fool".

Forum Topic "Logitech G600 vs Razer DeathAdder 2013 Edition vs SteelSeries Sensei Raw vs Steel Series Rival"

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

To be honest, all I care about is the comfort and ergonomics.

I don't really mind the "acceleration" from laser mice and whatnot.

With that said, I have never used a mouse more comfortable than the Deathadder/Mamba. It fits my hand perfectly.

If I were you, I'd try to use them in a store or something before buying!

Forum Topic "Is this memory compatible?"

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Google is your friend: Supported memory: DDR2-1066, DDR3-1333.

I believe that, if your motherboard supports up to 16GB of RAM, the system will recognize all 16GB and it will work at 1333MHz.

I would not recommend it though. I would definitely get more memory similar to the one you have right now... or save some money for a future build!

DeathJester11's Completed Build: Project: Ice Cascade (First Build)

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Oh... so the mesh is not filtered. Guess I'll just have to put some ghetto filter up there, even if it's exhaust!

Thanks a lot.

Tahab_1's Completed Build: Lengths of snakes match each silent syllable.

BaSkA 2 points 54 months ago

Well, "anything other than remove dust" is a lot on the long term. Or else, you will have to remove the TUF armor in the future to clean the MOBO, really not worth it.

Thanks anyways.

soopadrive's Completed Build: Exopsyche // Dual Buat H440

Thank you. I will be using them as case fans so I guess why not use the rubber grommets, right?

Thank you for your time!

Tahab_1's Completed Build: Lengths of snakes match each silent syllable.

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Err... the manual or google might help.

I believe the fan in the middle of the motherboard has 3 screws and it's not hard to install and the back one I have no clue.-

DeathJester11's Completed Build: Project: Ice Cascade (First Build)

That top mesh does not have a filter? Really? Even the Enthoo Pro has it.

mendhak's Completed Build: Horizontal Build 2014

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Thank you for your answer! I did not know there was a dust shield for the rear one.

I have heard they can be noisy but I will probably use a PWM controller for them.

mendhak's Completed Build: Horizontal Build 2014

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Are you using the rear fan from the motherboard (50mm I think)? Is it intake or outtake?

Great build!

soopadrive's Completed Build: Exopsyche // Dual Buat H440

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Cna you tell me your opinion on the Phanteks fans you got? Are they loud at MAX RPM? Do the included rubber grommets/stands help reducing noise/vibration?

Thank you!

DeathJester11's Completed Build: Project: Ice Cascade (First Build)

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Great build!

If I may ask, have you found any holes/gaps in the Enthoo Luxe that can serve as places for dust to enter the case?

I'll hopefully get the Luxe soon and will have an air cooled system with negative pressure so I want to keep as much dust out as I can. For that, I will make some ghetto air/dust filters in any places dust can use to infiltrate my baby.

JaneGoodall's Completed Build: Plain Jane (pure gaming build)

A 30$ CPU cooler and a better case wouldn't hurt.

At least you can play without any problems for a while, I guess.

kyle03's Completed Build: ROG Devil

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

How's the Enthoo Luxe doing? I'm trying to decide between the Luxe and the Pro...

I read that the Pro has some dust issues in the front, ventilation holes not filtered. Do you see any "holes" in the Luxe that may let dust in (apart from the rear PCI/Reservoir openings)? I plan on doing a ghetto filter in any unfiltered holes...

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

Ha, so much Corsair! Fanboy!

I love to see SLI GTX 770 as it performs so much better than a GTX 780 and probably a GTX 780Ti as well, for usually less money. And 4GB, amazing!

Too bad you missed the 4790K!

Nice build.

shamus20's Completed Build: custom gaming machine

BaSkA 1 point 54 months ago

You have 1600MHz RAM but they're operating at 1333MHz. If I were you, use only the 1600MHz 8GB, sell the 1333MHz and try to buy another 1600MHz RAM(same model).

I would also switch the fans, switch the 2 Noctuas in the rad for the 2 in the front. The CPU will be slightly hotter but the case airflow and noise (front fans are more noticeable than top pull rad fans) will probably be better!

Great build.
