The wireless mouse is crap. It's mainly so I can click around while on the couch. I would plug in a real mouse for serious gaming.

Cool thanks. The 780ti I have in this build is the super clocked one (stock goes for $699)

If you're a student (or have a .edu email) you can get windows 8.1 for $69

Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like the first thing I need to consider is an i5. I'm curious as to whether an i5 might bottleneck the 780ti if he was to add a 2nd one in SLI later though...

Thanks! The only fans that are (slightly) adjustable in this case are the two on the hard drive cage that I angled towards the GPU.

Yup i was using some ****** browser test, I get an average of 76-83C across all cores (83C max) when running prime 95.

You have an interesting point, I might consider switching to 2011 if I decide to add a 3rd Ti in the far far future.

I doubt the 4770k at 4.5GHz could bottleneck any existing GPU, but I'm not an expert either. Also this is an upgrade, my original setup was with 770s and I really don't think I would gain anything by switching out the board and processor.

All debit, and no I don't have too much money, I just spend wisely when I'm not building computers.

Not that I know of. I sold the 770s on Amazon (for a bit of a loss because of Nvidia's price cuts). I haven't actually had time to play on this thing and run some benchmarks but I expect to gain a decent amount of FPS from the upgrade.

I like it (great sound) but after a few hours it irritates my head (too warm and heavy). Also I can't use it with the 3D glasses so I had to get speakers...

It's actually Witcher 2 and yup I had to redo my bezel correction after installing the new cards (in the pic I hadn't yet). I'll leave the pic as is for OCD therapy though :P. No plans to upgrade this any time soon, although a 4-way SLI 780 Ti setup sounds delicious...

I also play a lot of LoL and I don't like the glossy feel of the naga hex. The matte texture on the LoL hex is sexy.

If you're going for a single screen grab the 770, otherwise the SLI 660s might perform better on multiple screens (don't quote me on that one). You could also add a second 770 later if your budget allows it. I have 2 770s in SLI and get 50+ FPS on most new games with maxed out settings at 5760x1080 (except Crysis 3). If i switch to a single monitor at 1080p my frames > 100. Here's what made me go with the SLI 770 option: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-770-gk104-review,3519.html

I first built the system with a HX850 then switched out for a HX1050 because I wasn't sure I'd have enough power when I overclocked it
