1 ssd is going to fill up fast if u have alot of games, get a wd 1tb blue or a Seagate 2tb barracuda should work great with the ssd

Comment reply on Forum Topic "First build looking for opinions"

go for a vega 56 or gtx 1070 or better, 850 watts is overkill go for 650 or 700, and only 1 ssd, if u play alot of games that is going to fill up very fast, get a wd 1tb blue for games or large files

go for a rx 580, everything else is fine, yes the mobo and cpu are compatible out of the box, no bios update needed

i dont see ur grandma doing hardcore photoshop so i feel like ur pl is overkill, and an unlock able i5? going with the ryzen 3 or 5 apus could be better. and i feel like ur storage options are very overkill, going with 1tb ssd would be fine, i hope ur not expecting ur grandma to be playing gmod with every mod from the steam workshop! This pl is better https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2CvMr6

i dont really think 8k is a good option, its not widely used yet and in my experince, i had better gaming performance with ryzen in games because they run cooler than intel's cpus and so I took a 1700x to 4.1 at ease with a hyper 212 cooler. i think this part list could be better https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yCcPGG

the cpu, motherboard, and cpu cooler are fine, but go with 16gbs of ram, better for multitasking and if u are using alot of files in your video editing software.
