Ah, I see. Still a great build!
Nice Build! Just wondering are you going to make a custom loop for it? Looking around online, some of the loops in the BH2 look really nice.
Wow, pretty cool! How did you get that processor for such a cheap price? Was it new? I was thinking about doing one of these, but the only thing setting me back was my lack of handy skills (having to drill stuff and things of that sort). I guess you accomplished this without having to do that stuff so maybe I will give it another thought.
Um, if I were to upgrade I don't think that the 1050 ti would be the best option for me due to the fact that is a low tier card for pascal. I want this system to last for more than 2 years.
Hi! First of all, nice setup! Where did you go to get your desk custom built?
MOAR PICTURES :p nice build anyway! this is really clean and nice
Nice Build! Is there a reason that you didnt get sleeved cables? It doesnt look like you really have a budget.
what about on high/ultra?
Lol, had the same thought
Did you move into Linus's old office?
Probably it's because AMD.
Ok thanks! I was scared for a minute.
First of all, great build! I just think that the hard drive on the bottom kind of gets rid of the wow factor, but that's just my opinion. Great Job!
I'm really a fan of the node 202, and this build is really clean and cool! Great job!
This is a Great Build! Great job!
BTW Congrats for the feature!!!
Ok! Now I get where you are coming from.
Nice build again btw!
That is a great build! :D I would just like to know why you put the ATX motherboard cable over top of the water cooler tubes. I think it would look better, with the cable tucked under, but I see why you would do that, since you couldn't really be able to see the custom sleeved cables.
I built a pc at 11. Its not that hard, especially if you do LOTS of research. Does help that one of my teachers is a PC enthusiast.
Oh. In that case I think you should go for the higher resolution monitor.
From what I see on several forums, you should be looking at one with an IPS panel. IMO you should get higher resolution, but 144Hz is not really necessary.
I ended up chatting with the NZXT support, and they said to clean with alcohol. Thanks anyway!
so a rog formula wouldnt fit in right?
I thought Prodigy regular was mini itx
Thanks for responding! It is OK that you did not reply sooner, as I am not in any kind of hurry. One last thing: Is the standard window with ventilation necessary, or can I just get the standard window?
The setup will have 2 of the same PCs (built of course). So one gpu will be used for each monitor. Also, thanks for the suggestion!
Oh Ok that makes sense. Thanks for clearing up!
FIrst, I would like to tell you how amazing your build is! it looks AMAZING! But, I would like to ask why you didnt get the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Tempered Glass edition. It would of looked better, and is only 10$ extra. Just giving a suggestion.
I know this is kind of late, but I am considering doing a watercooled build in the S5, and I want to know what customization options you chose for radiator mounts, and windows and stuff. BTW, your build looks extremely nice. Nice Work! :)
That is what I am using my PC for at the moment. I might get into many other projects and ideas later on, so I am future - proofing myself.
I use the PC for gaming and other various things occasionally for editing videos.
We both live near a microcenter. They sell the i7 - 6700K for 289.99 its great. Also they sell the i7 - 5820K for 319.99.
Ok I am also thinking of going with team red as well.
What kinds of other games would struggle in?
I get about 50 - 60 on bf4 ultra settings. Surprising for my standards, but its pretty cool!
I will consider this an option for later! Thanks.
I will upgrade certain parts later along the road. I was thinking that the GTX 960 would be overkill and that for the price point, I should go with the 750 Ti.
For the CPU upgrades, on MicroCenter, I saw the i7-4790k for 279$. Lucklily I live right by one, and so the "in- store pickup+ policy should not screw me over so much. I was wondering if I shuld go with that or the newer Skylake stuff because I do not really see the difference. i7 -6700k
I was reading about the fx 6300, and I came to the conclusion that I should not go with it, due to the some of the benchmarks.
So far it is handling well, but in the future I might have to upgrade for more games that would really benefit from higher - core processors. Also a higher level GPU to accomodate 4 K gaming a little bit later.
Once I do the huge overhauling in the summer, I will most likely get a quality power supply. Are modular power supplies better than semi - modular power supplies other than the fully modular cable placement?
I am going to upgrade later. Later, i am going to get higher end hardware, like say now the Skylake stuff, but later whatever comes out. Especially, the GPU and the CPU/Motherboard. I am wanting to upgrade and have a water cooling loop in the future, so a case of this size is necessary for all of the hardware.
How is that case going? I ordered a case from DIYPC (Zondda - O), and it was probably the worst case ever. So I would like to know how that case is working out for you.
I think it is great too! So far, I am enjoying it very much.
