You, sir, are correct. That's for letting me know. In my haste to post the build, I did a sloppy job of listing the proper parts haha.

Mostly because it's what he wanted after doing initial research. And he had the budget for it, so basically his choice.

Yeah, I can't get the g.skill to run past 2933 yet, but hoping that with the next BIOS update that issue will be resolved.

I actually changed my overclock to a safe 3.7 because I did not like the temps I was getting. She still runs buttery smooth. I could not be happier with my first build. Along with the 144hz monitor, I havent had this much fun gaming in a long time.

Thanks! I haven't done a 100% load as I just put it together. I'll be doing benchmarks this weekend when I have more time. I just got the Dram to run at 3200. I'm going to OC the CPU to 3.9 when I have the time thjs weekend.

I thought the same thing, but I think the BIOS is off. I downloaded Ryzen Master and it showed that it was 50c while I was playing games. And it was quite as a church mouse. I've spoken to MSI Customer support as well, and the BIOS is having issues it seems.

The CPU was at 39-40c at idle using the RyzenMaster software.
