mithiral67's Completed Build: Greenhorn Dragon AKA My Overkill Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 2 months ago

This loop is BEAUTIFUL. You did a fantastic job with everything for a first time.

SKK's Completed Build: Project V

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Build looks great. Only thing i would recommend is to put a cable comb or 2 on the GPU cable. It would really set the build off to have all clean cables. Also like Ahern said you have no intake fans. I would swap your 2 fronts.

alswns009's Completed Build: First Build!

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 3 months ago

Yeah i saw the rad, just was curious.... cause as of right now all his fans are exhaust so he is basically running static pressure. Just curious on what his temps would be. If he is gonna run front exhaust, he should run the rear fan as intake.

alswns009's Completed Build: First Build!

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 3 months ago

Build looks great, only question i have is why are your front fans exhausting?

angreekow's Completed Build: First Gaming Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 3 months ago

Nice super clean build. My OCD is KILLING me with that fan power in the bottom right of the case :p

Dutch_PCbuilds's Completed Build: My Rig

Dmolitor 3 Builds 3 points 3 months ago

Very very clean build my friend. I normally like some color on my build, but this is done fantastic. Super clean great work .

s00lfly's Completed Build: Mini-ITX RIG - LZ7 / Ryzen 7 / ITX 1080

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 3 months ago

No not for the processor my friend, just your system temps under load.

s00lfly's Completed Build: Mini-ITX RIG - LZ7 / Ryzen 7 / ITX 1080

Dmolitor 3 Builds 5 points 3 months ago

How do your temps come out with the case and everything?

Darkshigeru's Completed Build: Oceanic

Dmolitor 3 Builds 5 points 4 months ago

For a first build you killed it. It looks fantastic. Bends look good, but i am imagining what you'll make i think you'll kill it. Good job.

Eliray12's Completed Build: Simple Custom Water Cooling Loop (Soft Tubing)

Dmolitor 3 Builds 3 points 4 months ago

5.1 stable is a great clock. Is this CPU delidded, or did you get the holy grail of processors? Build looks great, hard lines would look good. Same with a set of green indivudual wrap cables. that would really set it off. like some extensions

dipalma14's Completed Build: First PC ever and first time building

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

Great looking build. For a first time builder you did a fantastic job. You left yourself with plenty of headroom for upgrading if you plan to, cable management looks great (only thing i can recommend is clock your fan for the power to go facing the backside and route the connector to the back to eliminate the wire by the shroud). Great work, and happy gaming! Welcome to the master race.

littletoke76's Completed Build: Budget gamer 5

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

I wish mine would have worked. I bought 2 sets and had an extra controller, but it literally blew when i started my PC so i said forget it and shipped em back

RichCarTheif's Completed Build: 1st Gaming PC Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

For the budget you had it's a great PC. The only thing from here I would do is add 16G of ram and you'll be set.

littletoke76's Completed Build: Budget gamer 5

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

I'm glad that the AIGO fans worked for you. I got the same ones and my controller literally exploded and almost started my PC on fire. Keep an eye out! Looks great.

Varekai79's Completed Build: Black and Blue & Beastly

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

If you want one i recommend the SilverStone PWM Fan Hub System Cables, Black (CPF04). Would be good, and you could mount it in the back.

Varekai79's Completed Build: Black and Blue & Beastly

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

Great build my friend! Almost identical to mine. Love my 4790k, still pushes everything strong! You should look at some blue cable extensions for the build that would make it go a bit more. Good job with cable management it's to bad you don't have a fan hub so you don't have that pesky fan wire.

.Elusive's Completed Build: Plays Fortnite Great (thats what I wanted)

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

Build looks great. Cable management is really good from the looks! I think if you have an extra 30$ laying around a set of purple cable extensions would REALLY make your build pop

dhishi123's Completed Build: First build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

Scoop ditty woop doop ditty woop woop scoopity. Great job on the build, looks good.

xxplicitt's Completed Build: Budget Build 2014

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

Beautiful cable management. Nice budget build that probably still runs games decent.

Big.Cat.LaFlare's Completed Build: Storm Trooper: Standard Issue

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 6 months ago

Build looks great! My next PC will probably be SFF. One hint if you haven't already found it, make sure to turn the deep sleep feature off on your monitor :) for some reason it comes enabled, which will cause the monitor not to wake up when powering the PC on from sleep. Nice cable management

Logista's Completed Build: NZXT H500 Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Great looking build my friend. If your card is running hot you should try taking the cooler off and re pasting it. My card was running a bit high in my opinion (980ti@74~) i redid the thermal paste and saw a 10~deg Celsius drop. The 4 silver bolts are to undo the heat sink. Many videos to watch. Great job on cable management!

Swerrve's Completed Build: $200 Budget Gaming PC!

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

The build looks great! My only recommendation would be to swap the fan on your cooler, cause where it sits it's going to push hot air to the graphics card. I would flip it so it vents out the top of the case then your GPU doesn't take in hot air. Other than that, great job cable management looks great.

YungGuappp's Completed Build: First Custom Gaming PC

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

I second this. 4K is nice but 1440 144 is a lot nicer.

YungGuappp's Completed Build: First Custom Gaming PC

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

That and a 144hz 4k exists, it's just 2k+. They have 8k monitors now. It'll happen within the range of the 1080ti being viable. maybe not 500$ but around a grand i can see.

YungGuappp's Completed Build: First Custom Gaming PC

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

He is going to 4K,it just sucks that a 144hz 4k is like 2 grand right now. One day it'll be a decent price

Benq XL2411P: I know that this build is not suited for 1080p, but I wanted to have a 144hz monitor for games like csgo that strongly benefit from one. I am currently saving for a 4k monitor to buy down the line

wckorb's Completed Build: The Box

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

So for your temp issue with the 1080ti the temp is close to concerning. I would recommend doing the temp fix for the 1080ti. My friend had this issue and did a slight power limit decrease on the card. Still got great performance, but his temps dropped noticeably. I would recommend this just to save your GPU at least. CPU is a bit high but in acceptable range.

littletoke76's Completed Build: Budget gamer build for a friend

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Great build for the price point. Nice job! My question is why do you have the 2 front fans in a push/pull? Top is pushing air out, while bottom is pulling in? Is this something you did on purpose? Just curious. Are the aigo fans pretty noisy? I've heard mixed things, i've been thinking of replacing mine due to coil whine lately.

MrThreePik's Completed Build: Flip II // R5 1500X // RX 570 8GB

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

Great build my friend! Looks so clean with new parts in. Crazy how just a quick paint job can make something look SO much better. Great job.

wrx_guy's Completed Build: 6600k/1070

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 8 months ago

I had a 05 blob eye. loved it, i will buy another within the next few years. except i'll be getting an STI cause it's a better platform for power. i'd like to get 400whp reliable. so i'll be doing new built motor, rotated turbo setup and the works.

wrx_guy's Completed Build: 6600k/1070

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 8 months ago

+1 for having a WRX as profile pic. I miss mine SO much. Great build my friend

illegalmod's Completed Build: Ryzen 7 2700 2k Gaming Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 8 months ago

Of course my man! I always try to recommend that. Frustrated me for the longest time. Idk why they think it's a good idea to enable that feature. Trolls. LOL

illegalmod's Completed Build: Ryzen 7 2700 2k Gaming Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 8 months ago

Build looks fantastic! If you have issues with your monitor turning on when you turn your PC on from either off/sleep, the monitor sometimes comes with the deep sleep feature enabled, turn that off in the menu and it will fix. :)

Jessiahsmallwood's Completed Build: The Accidental Ryzen V2

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 8 months ago

If you are unhappy with the reference card, i would get the kraken add on with a liquid cooler and do a 120mm liquid cooled card :) only recommendation. I think there is also an after market dual cooler for this card, just can't remember the name.

Lone_Courier's Completed Build: Impetus V.1

Dmolitor 3 Builds 3 points 8 months ago

650W should still give him plenty of head room. taking his parts, and swapping the i3 for a 8700k, and adding a corsair h100i, and swapping the 1060 to a asus strix 1080ti still puts him at about 475w max output. Little overkill, but deffinetly won't have any issues. I think it was a good decision, but also a bad one cause you are right he could have saved about 100$ and added an I5 instead.

the_naked_nerd's Completed Build: custom open loop

Dmolitor 3 Builds 2 points 8 months ago

Because he sold them. When prices on 1080tis were 1k+. So no the are not being used he no longer owns them.

erick1375's Completed Build: Valkyrie

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

This is extremely eye pleasing. The theme has fantastic execution, and your cable management is A1. Makes my OCD happy. Great job my friend, got my +1!

neilpatel64's Completed Build: Father's Day Build (Coffee Lake - Second Build)

Dmolitor 3 Builds 3 points 9 months ago

Build looks great. My only suggestion would be to put the fan for your cooler on the other side and have it push through the cooler. Because your front fans are intake, and your rear is exhaust, it would have a stronger push through the fins. You may see a few degrees difference. Otherwise looks great!

truvue's Completed Build: Dark Arctic Frost

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

I was about to comment the same thing XD my ocd is killing me with it. Like it's so pretty, then just 2 random cords. Looks great tho!

GETCARTER's Completed Build: My wife approved Titan Xp Collectors Build :)

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Haha right! That's nice you had that option. Yeah my phone auto corrected to plural :p it'd be nice to have more than 1 but to much crazy haha.

BowserGaming's Completed Build: Miami Neon / Retro-wave PC

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Because keyboard warrior! Haha

GETCARTER's Completed Build: My wife approved Titan Xp Collectors Build :)

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Awesome build my friend! It may have been wife approved, but i'm guessing she doesn't know the price tag on it, cause my fiances approves but when she hears the tag she's like "really you just had to go all out?" XD all jokes aside the coolant looks AWESOME.

META--'s Completed Build: Clutter Bomb

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

Fantastic job on your wire management. For a budget build, in a case with probably 0 cable management you killed it. Most people who build like this don't care. But you went above and beyond great job.

oweesong's Completed Build: The Upgradable Build

Isaac_The_Pooper's Completed Build: RGB Build

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

So long as the chipset is the same you can SLI different cards. Like i could use an EVGA 980ti, and a MSI 980ti and because they are the same chip it would work. Idk why he has a bridge on a 980ti and a 970 tho because that will not work. If he unhooked the bridge he could utilize the second card for monitors or mining and it would act as it's own card. But this SLI doesn't work.

juicypop's Completed Build: Raven RVZ02 Z77 3770k 1080ti Strix

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

My load temps are around 50 deg cel under load. Depends on if my heats on. In my gaming room my desk is sadly almost right under a vent so my ambient temp changes a lot if the heat is on which with summer coming now it'll be AC which will help a lot. GTA V is pretty CPU intensive. My GPU has been heating up lately i've seen up to 74 deg cel while gaming. Otherwise you could try some of the assasins creed games i know they are pretty intensive

juicypop's Completed Build: Raven RVZ02 Z77 3770k 1080ti Strix

Dmolitor 3 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

you are crazy my friend. First time i've ever seen it done outside of the tool. Great temp decrease. I thought about delidding but for my needs my 4790k doing turbo up to 4.5 is good. I saw big temp increases when trying to OC. see no need to delid since onces GPU prices go down i'm building again with the 8700k and 1080ti unless new architecture is out by then.
