Why'd you get a 903 over a 502... The 502 is by and large the most comfortable mouse on the market and has everything from Logitech and the 903 is frankly really uncomfortable with it's symmetrical design (this varies by person but how can a symmetrical mouse be comfortable for anyone... That's why there's left hand specific mice)

Interesting, I had hope D:, also haven't read about this topic since I first heard about it,maybe if AMD actually steps up their game with zen intel will be forced to remain competitive.....but I really doubt AMD can still pressure intel....

Not sure what your temps are but if you're running a 212 EVO for cooling you should have an overclock on the cpu. Just remembered z170 chips can be OC'd even if they aren't k series on certain mobos so I have to ask, have you? I think it was covered by LTT a while ago . Good build overall but I think you could use some more pictures

Not sure when this was built but looking at your storage I'd have used the budget on a 256 GB SSD and a 2-3TB HDD. 256 GB SSDs could be obtained at about $90ish a little over a year ago and I got 3TB Seagate Barracuda for $80 I think. Great build though still. By the way how is the G302 for fps games? I have g700s and getting a g502 but after handling a g302 I was just floored how well it fit my hand and am not sure whether the g303 is worth the extra cash.

Would be really good for longevity, performance boost maybe not but I wouldn't have four cards throwing off that much heat right ontop of eachother any other way, they're all gonna be under load in renderings

with an $8000 budget you didn't do a custom water cooling loop...............but damn is that thing awesome looking,do you do heavy 3d rendering? I'm upgrading to X99 soon for it :D

idk,I'll check the specs,g3258 outperforms quad core fx 4300,gotta check the athlon, turns out the athlon has slightly better performance at stock speeds, considering the pentium OC's a lot better it would win OC'd, even if it's just at the same clock speed, g3258 OC's up to 4.6 easily,3.7 is no prob for it

Comment reply on Jesus_Smith_Nandez's Completed Build: The Frankenputer

idk how g3258 is vs the athlon x4 960k,but it outperforms a 4300k at a lowly 3.2 Ghz clock and is cheaper at $60,honestly a modest OC of 4.0Ghz u can get with a low cooler and it beats anything short of an 8350. intel really put work into that cpu,it's an anniversary edition cpu.

AMD CPUs aren't used in budget builds at the moment anymore because the Pentium anniversary G3258,OCs like hell for only $60 and can do it on B85 mobos which are generally cheaper

with that kind of a budget,I must ask,why not a dual cpu mobo? and some cards with more vram? idk if u can use each cards vram when rendering though, never used multi card setup for it,crap I already said that(second question) but why no dual cpu?

u need to fill up the 5.25s :D get a dual bay reservoir, dual bay fan controller, lighting controls...5.25 inch bay fan intake..drawer,cup holder, and that still leaves an empty bay :O, I like my phantom 820, it only has 4 5.25s

The FX 6300 is capable for most tasks besides gaming, it's 6 cores are split up between 3 schedulers and caches but unless the schedulers are running at max it utilizes all cores unless a game doesn't use 3 logical cores :P and even for gaming it isn't a bad choice though I personally would have gotten an i5 at the very least

what evidence do you have that sais that? the 970s have more vram and when you have that many gpus the vram is what matters and honestly the 780 tis cannot beat 980s except in a few games and 3dmark for DX10

it would be about $2200 at the moment to upgrade to x99, assuming you get 8 core 5960x, motherboard that can handle all this, and ram so it could be worth it if you are planning to make another computer you can use this mobo, cpu, and ram. Goodluck with your next builds, this one is amazing though,I really would have bought something with more VRAM though :D I do 3d modelling&animation, never enough vram

there are PSUs with greater output that are one 80+ ranking lower though, although; their continuous output may not be as high but I personally would have chosen one of them, the EVGA SuperNOVA P2 1600W is 80+ titanium and more than $100 less, but you kinda did say money was no issue :P.Also,I'm not sure its still best for gaming performance with DDR4 and newer gen CPUS though I imagine it is as there isn't any better graphics setups....unless there was a custom loop and they were OC'd a ton
