What a clean setup. I hope I have one PG279Q but it is really pricey. BTW Which monitor arm are you using?
So lucky the vertical gpu mount is not out of stock lol. Just searching for some cnc shop near me so I can make some cut out to help the vent for this awesome case.
Cool! First time to see someone use the Tt RGB cpu block.
Me too but maybe I need more luck to get one lol
Nice build! And I have to say you are really lucky to get the ice wolf GPU mount. I kept an eye on it for a long time but coolermaster website always said not available/not enough stock.
I didn't see the PC. I only saw a steam powered beast. +1 of course.
I got a rotary tool to cut all the dividers but I cannot get the mount for a long time so I plan to use it on my future upgrade build if I can get one luckily :(
Thanks! It's really lucky to get one from cooler master. I checked their US store every time the bracket was always sold out lol.
That's really helpful. In fact all the photos there just showed most of the work detail but I'm not that confident about my own skill for handling so much different work of wood and metal lol
Great RGB! But how do you mount GPU vertically?
Holy ****! +1 for your great creativity and awesome work! I like mod PC and sometimes did some little mod of my case but I never thought I could bulid one like this.
Thanks for the information. I plan to find a metal shop since I'm not sure how to do it by myself. While I will figure out which side is cheaper and have the job done.
That's really nice. I also want to use X62 for my next build but see some reviews on Amazon said it will block ram slot on some mb. Maybe they use some ITX board. Anyway I will go for ATX so there should be no problem. Thanks!
In the 4th picture it seems X62 will block the first ram slot?
Nice build! Do you meet any RAM clearance issue with Kraken X62? I saw some builds they just avoid the 1st RAM slot or the fitting will bend the first RAM a little.
So many fans lol! The first time I saw water cooled RAM. Nice MSI red theme.
I see. In fact most of the time we didn't push our rig to full load so the temperature should be acceptable except someone want his part always as cool as cabine air or want a super quite computer.
WOW this Fallout theme is cool! It seems InWin 303 doesn't have those dividers? For vertical GPU it maybe easier but I really like Evolv ATX though it may take more time to modify not only the expansion slot and the front and top panel for better air flow. Did you meet any problem about cooling? The vent on front and top panel are really small.
Then cut off the original slot and install the bracket? That's really a good new. I know the CM holder but I used to think it will only work with CM cases. Thanks for the information!
It's not often to see those 45 degree tube but it looks nice. On overclock.net I also saw lots of people cut the front and top panel for better air flow. How about the cooling performance? And how do you make the vent on the panel? Just like find some workshop where provides laser cutting service? Thanks.
Vertical Graphic Card! Would you mind tell more about the modification/parts you use to make it stands in your case? And the room looks like a real theater only for those who have privilege to enter lol.
Cool! It seems no problem even there are 2 rads that block lots of air flow. I also have a water cooling plan with 2 rads in the Evolv ATX and worry about the air flow but now I'm sure it will be cool in daily use.
How about the under load temperature of you cooling solution? Thanks.
Me too. It’s really a sad decision of Intel. X series chips and CPUs are at enthusiast level which stand for high quality and high performance but they just cut down PCIe lanes and use thermal paste instead of soldering to control the cost (though MSRP still high). AMD used years on Ryzen and finally gave us a shock while Intel push out X299 and skylake-X in a hurry just gave most of us disappointment. This is not an intelligent choice at all.
Thanks for your reply. It is a good reference.
Maybe I can try a 6850K since it is soldered anyway lol. But it is really sad intel uses thermal paste in skylake-x.
Nice build and cool RGB effect！
I also have a plan to build a water cool rig in this chassis. I plan to use dual 240 rad with single reservoir but worry about the airflow in the case since the rad will block the intake and exhaust even if you choose F12 as fans. Do you meet any problems about airflow?
P.S.In fact CPU 75C on water is a little high in my opinion.
