I love the g502. It's really comfortable and the customizability is great. You can rebind all the buttons, adjust the weight distribution and switch the scroll wheel between free spinning and clicks.

I do photography and use Lightroom and Photoshop, but it's plenty fast.

If you look at the build I just submitted, I just used a purple sheet of vinyl I got off amazon on it and that worked really well, it peels right off if you decide you don't like it later. You can use the vinyl on other parts too to really customize it.

You can buy a new cable mangement bar from NZXT that's purple for 10 bucks, just a thought. It can really accent the build

I moved one of the pictures of the custom loop to be the first image.

This is in my dorm room, so it's also a bedroom. The projector is on my laptop, I've done some steam in home streaming as well as castle crashers on it. Also has been used to watch the league of legends playoffs on what is effectively a 75" tv

Thank you very much! I put a look of work into the cables and the vinyl on the ssd and the cable management bar

Yeah, almost everything was bought on Craigslist or hardware swap. I love the pastel, although apparently this particular one clogs and is bad so I bought mayhems blue and red pastel and I'm gonna make myself a purple that matches better.

Wouldn't boot in quad channel. Luckily the performance gain for most tasks is negligible so I don't lose much.

I bought some 550lb paracord off Amazon, a bent staple to remove the pins and a 1 dollar lighter to melt the paracord. I wish I'd done extensions from the start. They're a lot less work and it looks better. I actually blew a capacitor on one of the wires and had to solder a new one on.

Do extensions if you're thinking about this. Standard cables don't line up 1:1 so the cables cross and don't look as clean

How did you actually do the paint job? I'd love to do something similar
