dont need them anymore, got myself a 1080 0_0
loving the awesomesauce t-shirt reference. or is it paul? i get them confused
DID U ACTUALLY JUST REVIEW A WHOLE LAPTOP ON PCPER WUT
Its impossible to take the fun out of scrapyard wars
why arent the scrap things and tiki torches on the part list for potential buyers
pls pls pls route those cables better. Im not sure how great that case is for cable management but with some zipties and time you could add way more wow factor to your build
dont bother the i5 will do just as fine
great choices for a first build, your next upgrade should definelty be that gpu and then maybe move to amd zen or skylake
im likin that sticker
i see. nonetheless, great build
ok cool thx
awesome first time build. i cant dispute any of your part choices for the price you got them at, but please PLEASE get rid of that stock cooler asap. I would also consider an upgrade to skylake or zen, as those newer platforms have a ton to offer when you can afford an upgrade. an ssd makes sense, but you shouldnt need another 8 gb of ram for gaming.
remarkable build for such a low price.
i see that makes sense
how does it perform on higher end games, im considering one myself as i dont think ill need a 970
youre right, i was just outlining an upgrade path for him to follow.i am actually a fan of the fx 8350, but its a little too late in its life cycle for me to consider it for a build instead of skylake.
awesome build, some LED strips and sleeved red and black cables would make it insanely slick :)
great first time build, logical part choices for the most part. i wouldve considered skylake as it is around the same price but far more futureproof. look into that for your next upgrade. other than that, great part choices!
great build, that 960 choice is a little unorthodox but hey u do u man. love the enthoo pro its a great enclosure. your next upgrade should be a better gpu for sure, 2gb is going to be obsolete super fast in the gaming world. after that, consider a 6700k or even amd zen considering youll need a new mobo to consider overclocking and sli
nice build, but amd's am3 platform is outdated. consider an upgrade to skylake or the upcoming amd zen as soon as possible.also, for aesthetics i would consider a case upgrade and red/black sleeved extensions
the cpyu is fine as is, try and have the gpu tubing go under the gpu to the radiator. If you want some better management of tubing you could put the h100i gt at the front and put the fans at the top.
this build is literally my dream build ;-;
yeah it should do the job but the stock cooler is far from ideal
awesome build, look into routing cables behind the case and PLEASE PLEASE stop using the stock cooler. if u really want your build to be silent look into be quiet!'s dark rock pro 3, ive used it and its dead silent
awesome build dude kickass gaming rig! that case is awesome, and u shud look into a hue+ to add awesome flare to ur build. +1
awesome build, but try and utilize the air 540's dual chamber design to hide those cables!
yeah ideally a psu runs most efficient at 50% usage. in your description you mentioned a RAM upgrade, but 16 gb is overkill for gaming so dont bother with that. I would suggest a corsair or evga 650 watt unit for ur next psu
phanteks makes great cases good choice
awesome looking build and setup
great build, but this am3+ platform is going to be obsolete very quickly so i would suggest an upgrade to zen or kabylake as soon as they come out. consisder modding the windforce logo to glow red, there are how-tos on youtube. otherwise awesoem build! +1
damn what a beast of a first build. try and route more cables behind the case, and for a cleaner look if you take a hair dryer to the PSU sticker it'll come right off
yeah with kaby-lake launching later this year around the time amd's Zen comes out, youre gonna have pretty good choices for a new cpu/mobo
nice nice post updated pics!
oh that makes sense
Dont consider the 9xxx, they are overclocked 8xxx cpus for more money. The new Zen processors will come out late this year but will use the AM4 socket.
holy crap thats an old socket for ur cpu.... look into skylake as soon as you can afford it
definitely look into some extensions maybe?
true true, but in a system that costs this much it would have only been a marginal difference in price for a way more updated platform
awesome build, did you only go with the reference cooler for aesthetics on the 980 ti?
good build and good cable management for the most part. 8350 is really the most logical step forward
great build, but you should take a look at cable management
why haswell when skylake is around the same price point?
perhaps CPU power is important to him for other stuff, in that case he has a z170 chip set, unlocked CPU, and AIO cooler so he could get an amazing overclock. Also, if he decides to upgrade his system this build gives him a great upgrade path as all he has to do is throw in something like a 970 to max most games.
he said he only plays mainly MOBAs.....the 950 is more than enough for that
Really great build! why did you pick that cpu cooler though? either way, build looks sharp as hell +1
why 2 390s? limits your expandability and in that small of a case they are probably air-choked and thermal throttling. Would've been better off getting a fury x or a 980 ti, but +1 for looking awesome i guess
love the old school GPU +1
