Thanks for the insights on installing the GPU!
I'll do a similar build next month, and I was thinking: would you recommend going for a mini gpu (1 fan, 170mm) or do you think an RTX2060 of 204mm would be good enough to fit in compared to yours (209mm)?
I'm asking because I heard mini GPU are louder and get hot faster
Oof sorry for the super delayed answer... I would say yes, it's a cheap fan for a cheap build, and considering the case is so tiny some air can't hurt! No? :)
Thanks for the comment! It has been my first choice for a while, but I later saw online some complains about the coil whine coming from that card tho :(
I'm going for a similar build very soon and I'm super interested to know if you would recommend this double rad set-up over a standard GPU
Thanks a lot for the reply!
It does sound awesome on paper, but I'm gonna take a closer look at your build as I get home from work!
Interesting...but, what I meant was to flip the direction of the exaust fan and making it pull air through the GPU rad. Then since both the front and the back part of the case are pulling IN with two AIOs, I would make so the fan on the top part of the case is now the exausts.
I hope I explained my thoughts correctly now ... :S
Anyhow thanks A LOT for the feeback on those brand. I really care about temps going into this build
PS: Actually ... it's exaclty what this guy has done in his build https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/cnJ8TW
Nice build! I'm thinking about a similar set up (using an AIO for the cpu) and I have a question...don't you think the GPU has very little room to breath from? (Considering the PSU shroud)
That looks great! I'm planning to do a very similar build, same case.
What fans did you use for the push-pull? Any thinner ones?
I'm also uncertain if I should put a 297mm blower GPU or a mini as you did.
Ok so, for the "GPU fit" I'm 100% positive as I saw completed builts with 267 mm GPU inside the GS13, here on pcpartpicker.
Thank you a lot for the explanation! You gave me a nice picture on what parameters to address when it comes to monitor.
What do you mean with "make sure it has the appropriate port"? Aren't all the HDMI port the same..? Being super newbie here, LOL.
Love the case.
I did my first build on a different mini itx, but my next one will be 100% with the Laser3D
Ok awesome! Will do
Yea. I loved the look of it and I was kinda scared of using it for my first build...but it felt very solid and easy
Ok thanks for the feedback! I'll do some test but my parents will only using for browsing. But yea, I have time to improve it if it'll be necessary!
Good to know, everyone seems to point that out! :) Thanks for the feedback
Nah, it's very easy. You can just take a look at the mobo instructions and yea..only the good one do fit! :)
Thanks for the suggestion, you guys really think 8gb won't be enough for very basic browsing? My parents can barely turn the pc on
Ok thanks for the comment!
Thanks guys for the tips, I went ahead and dismembered the whole thing and build it out of the case.
I think it had something to do with the cpu and the cooler, since they were the only pieces I didnt touch before.
Maybe I positioned the cpu with the wrong orientation ? ...who knows
Well, it's been a good day, Thanks a lot gentlemans
Thank you for taking the time to explain all of this!
I will surely consider yours over mine (that I did with no knowledge whatsoever)
Thank you! But, no graphic card?
I took inspiration from it and tried with something like this
