Regular FTW3 just has the cooler, Ultra is higher clocked, Hybrid has the radiator

Super version is based on the 2080S chip (which is a higher memory clocked 2080)

It's a lot faster, but the extra speed will not present any extra difference, unless you're pushing gigabytes of files through it (HD video footage, some large games, etc)

  • You don't need the 3600MHz RAM, 3200MHz would be fine

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-3000-best-memory-timings,6310.html

  • That case comes with no options for intake, so I'd look for 2 cheap 140mm fans for the front

Mobile architecture is a cut-down version of what is used on the desktop (with some exceptions), so the desktop will win out over the laptop.

I'd get a better case and PSU, but that list looks OK (although I'd recommend getting the fastest RAM the chip can support)

The X570-A PRO's components aren't great, find a decent B450/X470 board instead

(B450 Tomahawk MAX/X470 Gaming Plus MAX come to mind, or ASUS's X570-P)

There's not much difference when it comes to gaming (in other tasks; yes, gaming; not as much)

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-3900x/14.html

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-3900x/22.html

And the review shows its ahead in some titles, but behind in others (overall gain is about 4% over the 3700X)

So not much difference.

Seagate is a reputable reliable brand and there is always idle time.

Not so.

https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/343806-i-feel-like-we-need-to-figure-out-what-hdd-we-should-put-in-for-builds-for-others-to-get

Well i think the ratings would disagree about the PSU especially considering they are higher than the one you suggested.

Consumer ratings mean nothing when it comes to how good a PSU is (The reviews that matter are professional reviews from sites like Tomshardware, Techpowerup, Jonnyguru, etc.)

https://pcpartpicker.com/comments/thread/3482055/#cx3483004

Liquid cooler isn't really unnecessary as it fits well within the posters budget plus it can easily be switched and at that rate the poster can just use the stock cooler and wont require any after market cooler.

AMD chips don't need it (all chips are adjusted for highest frequency from the box)

All fans are audible everyone has different sound tolerances.

Well, when it becomes annoying and persistent, I care to disagree...

In gaming it's about the same, but the extra beef may help with the other bits

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-9-3900x/14.html

That cooler is the best you'll get for $50, and considering that AMD doesn't overclock well (you're better off leaving the chip alone), it'll be just fine

Not sure about how that would go (considering that most OEM PSUs do not have the connector required for the 570)

A 1650 would be a better pick.

2500 allows for a decent GPU (included 1 75Hz for the slower paced games, and 144Hz for faster games)

First of all, clear your CMOS (there should be a small button-cell battery on the mainboard; disconnect that)

https://neosmart.net/wiki/reset-bios-cmos/

Once in, you'll have to set the HDD as your primary boot source

https://www.techradar.com/au/how-to/how-to-install-windows-10

For the USB adaptor, return it, and install a small PCIE card (those start at 30 bucks)

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/k9ndnQ/asus-pce-ac51-none-wi-fi-adapter-pce-ac51

Win10 should recognise the adaptor, but if it doesn't, go to ASUS's website and look for the drivers there.

Nothing seems to be wrong here, only thing you could do is get a small SSD (it'll feel much better, trust me)

2060 has more CUDA cores, and is a more powerful chip (1660TI isn't too dissimilar to the 1660S)
