I'd give this three thumbs up but I only have two hands...
Nice build! Any specific reason for the storage combination?
I find the contrast between the PC parts and the nature theme very unique! :)
Looks amazing. I'm blown away with what you could do at the cost which you did.
You beat me to that comment.
His performance should be between that of the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 with his Vega 56. Either would be a comparable card.
Here's AMD's overclocking program:
Nice build, nice haircut. ;)
"Now this is epic."
This deserves a feature. You have a spotless setup. :)
For me, it's hard to hit 144hz at 1440p without going to Medium or mixed settings, and that's with a GTX 1080.
Depends on the resolution.
"I will be giving away 'this Pc' (Which just happens to have 3 different forms) with no explanation for why."
Looks like your cat is mesmerized.
Nice build! I bet you've got a happy mother. ;)
My main point was that it would be best to do a full build later rather than an upgrade now.
I would recommend waiting until Navi and AMD 3000 series releases to do a new build. The leaks look promising and even if they don't happen, prices on current parts will drop.
Sounds pretty good. You should try embedding the parts list. It makes things a lot easier.
Ok, this is epic.
It's cool to see someone contributing to their employer using their skills of designing and building systems. Keep up the great work!
Something along these lines would be perfect for a first build. AMD's new CPUs and GPUs are going to be launching soon, they will drive prices down on current generation products.
Seeing that he has an RX 580, and is not just using his 2200G's iGPU, I would assume he does a bit of gaming. As for the performance you can expect, max settings in any game at 1080p with at least 80 FPS.
90% of people on this website don't need the PCs they are buying (including me). We buy them because we are enthusiasts. That means we want power and performance.
Shhh. It's not what someone needs, it's what they want that matters. ;)
If you do upgrade, mail me that lil Athlon and I’ll give it a home.
Last leak I saw, the 3300 would be a $100 hexacore, with an X version having higher clocks and a slightly higher cost.
Do you plan on upgrading when 3000 series is released? If so, what to?
I'm so proud of this community...
*ok, this is epic
"Mom look! It can be this color, or this color, or this color, or this color, or this color, or thi-"
I would say that you couldn't have worded the "itch" any better. I recently did a build with the same CPU, GPU, and Case as this one, but I must say that his turned out a bit better. Nice build mate.
They are pretty rare. Most of the little figurines have been snatched up by collectors.
Add some pictures if you do it :)
It needs pikmin.
Normal Person: Gets a boot SSD and an HDD
You: Gets a boot SSD and another for good measure
Awesome build, even more awesome wife. ;)
That was a memory issue. I'm pretty sure they got it fixed.
I'm usually not the biggest fan of white builds, but you sir have changed my opinions. This puts so many builds to shame and has risen to the top of my favorite list. Awesome build. I know you'll get your share of enjoyment out of it. :)
Considering just how ludicrous this build is, I believe it deserves a feature. I'm not sure if everyone can appreciate the research, time, and effort put into this little beast. Have fun, we know you will.
There is a new Xbox app released from Microsoft called Wireless Display, it turns your Xbox into a Miracast receiver, so you can stream your PC to the comfort of the couch.
Checkout Moonlight, you can stream to almost any device. (Even a Raspberry Pi)
It's nice to see someone else who uses NVIDIA GameStream. Wonderful build!
The GTX 1660ti makes sense for a tight budget, but I would recommend an RTX 2060 or higher.
The RTX 2060 looks to be an interesting pairing for the R5 2500(X).
Wonderful build! Your description as "...lean, mean, data crunching machine" is an understatement.
I presume he got it on a major sale.
"See guys? Noctua doesn't have to be ugly!"
Cool! I don't see bundles like that very often.
