Why do so many people mount this cooler sideways?
What are your GPU temps while gaming?
You should get some cable extensions
The bomb has been planted.
You should not be allowed to have stickers
Why don't you use one of those case fans as an exhaust?
Apparently that RAM overclocks very well.
Have you tried overclocking the RAM yet?
What CAS latency is the RAM at?
Someone else was able to overclock that RAM to 3200, just so you know.
Does the CPU cooler block the 1x slot on the motherboard?
This RAM has a micron E die that can overclock to 3600.
What are the RAM timings?
F in the chat
You should see if you can overlock the memory to 3200 CAS 16
Were you able to run the memory in dual channel?
How low did you get the memory timings?
How is that monitor?
But what are they?
I was just asking. What are the GPU temps? That was my original question.
The psu is not the problem, the graphics card is not getting enough air because it is too close to the bottom of the case, and because the psu intake fan is directly underneath it.
But the one in the last pcie slot is very close to the power supply shroud.
It is an APU.
What are your GPU temps?
Some mini-STX motherboards have MXM slots for mobile graphics cards.
Put that baby on the desk, or on the end table where your printer is now.
A 6 core CPU in 2019?
Any bottlenecking with the Titan Xp?
But it’s ugly. It makes me sad :(
More pictures please.
Please replace the stock cooler.
You don’t have to put the entire part list in the title
You should have a backup drive anyways, just in case something happens.
He does have 16GB, it’s just really slow.
Here threadripper costs over $1000
Really? What happens if the nvme drive fails and he loses all his data?
Ikr. $700 is just too much $$$ for a CPU.
Im not denying that AIO GPU coolers are better than stock, I’m just saying that I don’t think it’s worth spending $$$ to replace something that isn’t broken.
Integrated GPU coolers usually do a good job of keeping the card cool because they are designed specifically for that model of video card. For example, an EVGA 1080 and a STRIX 2080 ti will have different PCB layouts and thermal design power. That being said, GPU AIO coolers are better than most integrated air coolers, but unless you have a really hot card, in my opinion, it’s not worth buying an AIO cooler and bracket when your GPU already comes with a perfectly good cooler.
OK, your build costs over $4000 where I live, and the i9 9900k costs $200 more than the i7 9700k, so I didn’t think you had a real budget.
Its only a few bad cards that have artifcating issues
So is the i9 9900k. If price was an issue for this guy he would’ve gone with an i7 9700k or a Ryzen 7 2700X for this build.
