If you're in Newcastle you're an Aussie obviously with magpies as well, so just saying, if you have a kid or you are a student yourself you don't need to pay for a windows license, you get it for free, sorry you had to buy it :/ but I love the build, and also where did you get the Zotac version from? I've only ever found them overpriced on Amazon and nowhere actually in Aus :(

Nope none at all, it runs heaps well but 960 would also perform fantastic so I'd say go with that and spend a little less and yeah :) hope it goes well

jipster69 understands fine..

also 1066mhz is actually the slowest for ddr3 on pcpartpicker not 1600

nzxt s340 is my favourite looking case and also happens to be an excellent value case with wonderful cable management and nice and compact but still full atx case which is why I went with it, so there isn't much need for a huge case like the phantom 630, you could also get a gorgeous H440 and get it in the colour you want even. But if you were getting a large case around the same size as the phantom 630 I would get the Bitfenix Shinobi XL Window or the Raven RV03B-WA or even spent more and get the gorgeous corsair 760T/780T don't get me wrong the 630 is gorgeous, but there are also many more options to go with.

I don't have a fan controller as I don't have drive bays and don't need them, but they are extremely useful I've heard.

The devastator bundle is excellent value and perfectly fine and comfortable for gaming so I don't think jipster69 really needs the k70 for now.

Almost all wifi adaptors are very similar, it's really just your provider and the cables you use that determine your internet speeds and whether you have dual band or single band.

Mice are completely preference and depend on what games you play, the naga is an mmo mouse so not all people need that, I certainly don't.

And actually I believe jipster69 knows perfectly well how to put together a build as he has actually done it with proof unlike yourself, you merely have part lists, no completed builds. I've put together tonnes of part lists over the past few months changing my mind all the time. So don't knock jipster69 he's doing better than you since you think consoles are great too considering they really aren't, you can put together a pc for $200 that's heaps better than console. Consoles like PS4 and Xbone have AMD jaguar apu's not even a single graphics card so they are quite pathetic. So yeah don't knock jipster69 he's doing fine (defs get a little better gpu soon though ;))

just a question, why do you have 32gb or ddr3 2400 ram? you only need 4 or 8gb at that budget and then you can get a much better gpu with the extra money... the other parts are fine though

pcpartpicker how does this look it has a little better graphics card than Godzlegend1 suggested but not as good ram or power supply, but it suffices :)

Okay, so which would you advise? I was only going with a 4k monitor so i could keep it for the future, but obviously that isnt the best option :/ how about 1 980? and then get one more later when i have more money? and just get a 2k monitor? does that sound good to you? Thanks a lot for the help btw :)
