This was built for the "under 2000" as sometimes stretching might be too difficult and could help with any afterthoughts/ regrets, at about $1650 this would be a fantastic 144hz 1080p streaming setup with scope for improvements; 1. AMD has stated that it will be supporting the am4 socket for atleast 2 more generations. allowing for a more powerful cpu in the future (you could put in a 1700 from the start if wanted to have the more power straight away!) 2. the system could easily take a 1440p monitor later on as an additional screen 3. you could pick up another gpu to add additional power if there is a decent deal later on, when the next gen cards release.

Additionally, i am using the CM lite bundle and really like the feel of both the keyboard and mouse ( however i have no experience on anything else)

Nothing major in my opinion hear, might suggest looking at temps of the 1600 with the stock cooler. And why a blue fan in this black and red themed build?? Perhaps some nzxt aer fans for RGB and set to red???

thanks for the reply, sadly i havnt had the time and or money to upgrade yep, luckily as my PC decided to give up the will to live along with my laptop and 360 in the same week. so will be waiting for the 580 or 570 prices to drop and rebuild my system with a r5 1500x and enjoy the overkill imo. thanks for the reply again :)

looks like a fab build, just a few things - if you do have the i5-6500 you sadly wont be able to over clocked and it is a non K chip (meaning it is locked). this shouldn't be much of an issue as i have a locked i5 of similar level and it is not faulting after a year and an half. Secondly as ssd will make all the difference and will make it soo much quicker. enjoy the slippery slope into wanting to ever update your system :)

looks good to me, for mine i managed to get the i7 6850k in and plan on buying fans after to add in, as it is easier to buy fans and not a cpu and mobo down the line. other than that looks links a fairly balanced build. have fun if you are lucky enough :)

well everyone (hopefully) have 'regrets' about their first build which they want to change, with it taking me over 1 1/2 years for me to get around to sorting my system out. but once i started tinkering i just cant stop!!! (i'm sure my bank account hates me)
