"Energy drinks and a lot of swear words"
I chuckled. +1
Read the last line of the description.
Won't the steel cause a problem from galvanic corrosion?
Jesus that rad is enormous.
No. I stacked the PSU on the cpu cooler. There wasn't any extra room for it.
Bought it a loooooong time ago off amazon. I can't find it anywhere either.
It's worth it to buy their computers if you buy systems from 2012 and older. They're cheap and run well. I've been using a 2008 15 incher since it was new and with a few upgrades it tackles CAD and xCode like a champ.
I've read their pumps have a reputation for high noise/failure. Their other components are fairly lackluster. I'd recommend sticking with EK or Alphacool instead. I bought this kit when I first started watercooling, so I didn't really know about all the brands.
Thanks! The kit was one of XSPC's AX360 kits, and the GPU was an old barebones ATI card to avoid stressing out the PSU.
All you need is a p45 board. They can be found every once in awhile used. I have 2, and each one was $20.
I mean, if you compare TDP, the numbers make sense. The 5250u has only a 15w TDP versus the 120 of the x5460. It's prioritizing power efficiency versus performance.
I don't think the effective memory clock rate is quite right there...
The crate was too small so I had to. It works, but every time I kick it under the desk I check to make sure it's still situated properly.
I haven't actually. I'm more of an ubuntu guy.
A case would actually work better because a closed container allows for positive air pressure. The crate works though. I thought about using a table fan, but it would've been pretty loud.
How are the BXQINLENX fittings? Do they feel cheap?
Weird Stuff scavengers represent!
Probably the best hard tubing I've ever seen. +1
That FX-8320 is a severe bottleneck on the 1070. You should probably get a 7th gen i5 or if you want another AMD processor, go with an AM4 cpu after they're released. Something like a 6700k or 6800k is pretty overkill for gaming. You really only need an i5 unless you're going to use workstation applications.
Never seen those cards before.
Used server ram is really cheap, especially in ddr3.
I smell a feature incoming. Great build!
Why the 1600w? There's no need for one if you're running a single or double SLI system, even with a generous OC.
Called Janus I think. It was white.
I smell a feature coming.
Yeah, the difference is subtle and often overlooked, but makes a big difference. Cooler master actually makes some great pressure fans at lower prices. I'd reccomend a cooler master silencio. High pressure and virtually silent. In the meantime, the EVO stock cooler is pretty kickass too.
You might want to put pressure fans onto the cpu cooler instead of case fans. It'll drastically improve temps. Also it bothers me.
Looks like he used 3 420mm radiators.
Pics please, and the one you have looks like it was taken on a potato.
Also the description is one sentence.
First build with a Razer case I've seen that doesn't OD on green LEDs. Nice work. +1
The airflow actually isn't half bad. The front panel is floating for better intake.
+1 for chrome tubing.
How couldn't I be with that cable management?
This... This is beautiful.
I am fully erect.
I love meself some juicy internals ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Boi. We want side window pics. We wanna see dem juicy internals.
I'd reccomend Cooler Master Sickleflows, excellent airflow and pressure and 10 bucks a pop.
Yeah. I'd love to see an update with those attached.
They actually make single braided PSU cable extensions that get you that fancy modular look without an actual modular.
sniff sniff Hmmm... smells like... Razer fan.
Maybe retake the pics. And word of advice: hold the camera steady. About a third of these pics are a blurred mess. I'd love to see the build but it's kinda hard to.
It's surprisingly easy. It's just like normal hardline, really. You could easily find tubing like this down at the hardware store as refrigeration line, and a 3/8 in OD lever style bender is around $15. I'm working on a build with it right now, in fact.
Why so many SSDs? Could've gone with a one terabyter for that much money, or even a two tetabyter from another brand.
Ah. The picture didn't show that.
Is the fan on the PSU mounted downwards or upwards? Because if it's downwards, putting it on carpet is not a good idea. Might want to find a board or something to put it down on.
I blew my wad.
Always love meself a custom loop.
And that last picture doe... my eyes... they burn.
Wow. One of the cleanest builds I've seen on this site. I like to see the pass-through fittings finally getting some well-deserved love.
Upvoted for blitzcrank figurine.
Oh and nice pc too
I think you may have entered the wrong motherboard. The list shows an M7.
