Well thats a wall of text.
Bought my 1080 Gaming X lightly used (guy bought it w/o realizing it wouldn't fit in his case, couldn't return because it wasn't broke) for 440$ back when the same card cost around 1000$ (mining craze)
Best build-related choice I have made.
I also bought my Proteus Spectrum certified refurbished. Also worth it.

Went over that in my history class recently. You know you suck when people start tagging your name onto every negative thing that happens to them. Hoover flags, hoovervills, etc.
no need for an /s. There seems to be a common trend of choosing people who have no prior political experience...Not an opinion, its literal fact.
I think this is because trust for politicians are running especially low right now.
I don't really respect many politicians..I used to be hardcore conservative but the polarizing nature of todays politics and the ulterior motives+sensationalizing from each party has pushed me away from politics in the united states in general.
My Ukrainian immigrant friend has gotten me interested in their politics though, and apparently the next president of ukraine might very well be a comedian with no prior political experience.
I do not use photoshop or premiere,so I wouldn't know about that. If it means anything, I use autodesk inventor (which is a CAD program using solid models) and it rarely goes above 30% usage even when dealing with large models.
I play men of war assault squad 2 (which is an RTS) and with about 100 rendered AI units on each team+ a few vehicles the usage hovers around 80% for it in task manager. In UEBS I can render 10000 AI units fighting each other and the CPU usage is a round 60% for the game process in task manager. IMO with those types of scenarios your GPU+RAM will be the limiting factor. In MOW I was getting 60 frames most of the time, but in UEBS my MSI 1080 Gaming X was brought to its knees, struggling to stay above 30.
I just threw some quick tests together, so the above results are relative. In the backround I had discord, steam, and chrome (with facebook and youtube (which was playing music) and some other random tabs open. All games tested were played on a 1440p monitor at max settings, and my setup also has a secondary 1080p monitor for what it's worth. At no point did overall CPU usage go above 90%, hovering between 50 and 85% utilization. The CPU is not OC'd, and the stock cooler is still being used.
Temps are pretty high up there, as its resting around 80c max load with the stock cooler. This could quite possibly be explained by XFR though.
TBH neither do I.
All I remember is that some kid was complaining about some irrelevant thing his parents did/didn't do and got really immature in the comments. To him it was probably not a troll post, but for us it was a meme.
Pretty sure it was just last year midway through
Well if he was considering getting a new keyboard and his current one is not under warranty/he doesn't plant to keep it there is nothing to lose. I'd say give it a shot fixing the switch.
I have the 2700x and I have no regrets. Does just about anything I throw at it for like 200 less than the I9s. The stock cooler works excellent too, still using it after 4 months with no problems. (and its RGB!)
Upgradeability is a big boon as well.
ohhhh another meme thread. A la "I h8 my parents"
Gonna get some popcorn
I think you got it wrong....
Have you considered the 2700x? if you have the money by all means for for the I9s but I know from personal experience that the 2700x isn't exactly inept when it comes to multitasking.
Not trying to fanboy of course. Again, if you can afford it, go for the top-tier stuff.
As you did not specify the backpack, I took the liberty of assuming you meant a hiking backpack, as would be appropriate for such a trip. There are backpacks out there that would fit him.
I should have said a fully loaded AR-15.
Got me there.
Bear Grylls and an AR-15
Feelings dont care about your facts. Its a ****** bent cylinder my guy
hell no. Its a donut
I just use my current one
I just say OK and continue to reply with OK every time.
I get a ratio of 1 word typed by me to 20 words typed by them.
Same here. I spent a ton of money on my first (and current build), didn't want to fry anything so I checked every cable at least twice along with watching one of Bitwits how-to videos at 0.25 speed..
It was worth it.
The family of the victims should not have to pay money to sustain him in prison.
I watched it as well..I didn't really have any reaction to it, just watched it passively. That in itself should be disturbing, but it isn't. Makes me wonder who I am.
I purchased my MSI 1080 gaming X off of a guy on r/hardwareswap who apparently bought it for a case that wouldn't fit it. Did some research on him, turned out he had 28 confirmed trades and had previously posted on another subreddit about said case and how to make the card fit. He sold it to me for 440$ during the height of the mining craze when the same card was going for 1000+. Came in the original package, works hard and well for the 6 month's I have had it.
Will post pics of the entire setup once I get a mic+webcam and and actually get around to writing a completed build post.
It will be an interesting one, because my PC is actually under a loft bed and is on a desk I made to look like it so that it basically looks like the desk and bed are one piece.
Xbox 1 used off of ebay...
Only I didn't, and instead I now have a custom built rig with a 2700x and a 1080.
I feel that some fear that once the taxes are passed, it will make it much easier to expand the area of affected people in the future.
Don't take away the incentives for success.
you should try rising storm 2: vietnam if you are about that life
wow, I always wondered how to do that.
Have some karma
gotten more off days from my hs that the district has had in the last decade due to this system...4 days in 2 weeks
I use the 2700x and a 1080 gaming x from msi, along with the same ram and though I am not currently streaming I have tested it out and it works fine. The combo easily tackles streamlabs and any game I throw at it, rarely going above 70% utilization.
As for suggestions, the stock cooler that comes with the 2700x is excellent for a stock cooler. It has RGB, fine cooling at stock and at a slight OC. There is no need to buy a cheap tower cooler, as it most likely won't be doing you any good.
I use capitalone through my dad.
Been spamming those AMD shares in advance for the new hardware launch :)
Same boat, towards milwaukee though. We have landscapers putting in patios and digging in the ground in f'in JANUARY!
Kershaw fans unite!
Clash serrated black
Kershaw clash serrated;cheap, very durable, and it's illegal to carry anything else when you are 16..
And of course I can't bring it to school.
I use the k63 and it is awesome..no rgb though, just red.
My family has a spectrum 200mbps plan but we are only getting 98 mbps wired to the modem with cat5e and gb ports on both sides. The modem supports 300mbps... I have called them previously but my dad has to approve anything they do. I have talked to multiple reps, some say sending someone to fix it is free, others don't. We used to have a 100mbps plan, but we got a letter saying we were being automatically upgraded.....
How long did it take you to fix it and did you have to pay extra?
Looks good to me :)
Never seen you before on this site, but now it seems the 'hate' is justified.
EDIT: Usually, when a post gets lots of downvotes on this site, it is because it is either insulting or wrong in some way. I don't really see people going on downvoting sprees here, and I have been lurking for a long time.
Yes. Both smart and full scans, with avast. No difference visible...
I have also looked into the services, (programs that start by default), backround programs, etc.
It seems to be the sheer number of processes running, but I can't tell which ones are good/bad
GTA V single player (I got banned from online for modding/money dropping)
Beam.ng Drive (single player but no plot or protagonist)
Ultimate Epic Battle SImulator (battle simulation game, not the best graphics but you can have 9000 penguins fight 1000 zombies in 3D, each having its own AI)
Yes, I know that, and have already done it. There aren't that many big processes running, and if I end one, it either comes back in 5 sec or stays away. Either way, the cpu goes back to 99%
