They're doing well. Are they supposed to have issues?
I don't think they're loud, personally. The loudest fans in my system are on my GPU.
Ah, yes..once upon a time. 'twas wonderful.
Yes. I haven't been able to play all of the games in my steam library, but I know for sure I get 60+ in Tomb Raider, Battlefield 1, Mad Max, Battleborn, and Shadow of Mordor.
and then some.
I felt the differences were fairly negligible and opted for aesthetics. If/when it doesn't perform to my standards (which it has, so far) I could sell it and upgrade...maybe an RX490 whenever that's released..
I also almost went with Intel but it was pretty difficult for me to find a non-damaged x79 motherboard(wanted 6+ core processor with hyper-threading) for a decent price on eBay. Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford go x99 or above.. Until then, I'll be steady rockin' with my 8350
I had completely forgotten about that test, I've just uploaded my results.
oh no..anything but that ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I don't mind it's age. I kind of tired of waiting for amd. Figured I'd try to get the most out of what I can, while I can. It's better than I expected considering all of the reviews comparing it to intel's latest. Still putting it through it's paces.
I don't mind the age of the processor, It's still capable of scrapping (ง'̀-'́)ง. As far as upgrading goes, I think I may hand off this build to my cousin when I feel it's time to upgrade(I may or may not charge him...lol). But all is good, I don't mind a bit of criticism.
The fans are partially for aesthetic and partially as a precaution cause of what people have said about AMD products running a bit hot. As for the Processor, I really don't mind if the architecture is that old. It's definitely waaaayyyy better than an computer I've ever owned. The RAM was a gift to me from my girlfriend's uncle and had been sitting around for about 6-12 months waiting for me to utilize it.
