I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever have another one of these, glad to see them back.

Anyways I don't each much seafood. Sometimes we have fish which is ok, but my dad is allergic to shellfish so there's never much seafood in my house. On a few occasions though I've had shrimp and its pretty good.

A problem to be sure, but a welcome one!

This computer is a beast, but the GPU is not. Don't get me wrong, it's a great GPU, but it's not gonna give you the performance of a top tier card such as a GTX 2080. If you want to find a game that will push its capacity just find an AAA game released recently (2018 or later probably). Most of these probably will be violent and/or expensive though...if you can get Planet Coaster on a sale that might be good. It's the spiritual successor to Roller Coaster Tycoon and my GTX 1050Ti I think runs that on like medium settings (not sure though, I haven't played in a while). Other than that not much comes to mind.

There are no vaccines or antiviral drugs that are approved for prevention or treatment.

Imagine if this virus keeps spreading and they create a vaccine to cure it but then anti-vaxxers refused to take it and it kept spreading. Makes me sick just thinking about it

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Upgrade or not?"

  • 1 point

Well, it depends on what you are doing with it but that computer is still a beast and upgrading it would probably just be a waste of money. Ask yourself "Is there anything I am doing on this computer that is too slow or needs a higher FPS or that I want to turn up the graphics settings on?"

If the answer is yes then I guess an upgrade is reasonable if it's affordable for you. Although if what is so slow is loading times then a newer CPU or GPU probably isn't what you need, you'd want an SSD.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "What kind of CPU should I get?"

  • 1 point

You can use the same MOBO with a newer Intel CPU if PCPP says they are compatible. If you switch to Ryzen or any AMD CPU you will have to get a new MOBO. Also, be aware that Windows' keys are locked to the MOBO so if you do get a new one and are using Windows you will need a new key.

Now unless if you are planning to downgrade your CPU (which you aren't) you can keep your current RAM. Any modern MOBO will support DDR4 RAM so you don't need to worry about that. Now an older MOBO would need DDR3 but there's no reason why you would be purchasing one of those.

Allow the major parties to nominate up to two candidates rather than just one

I don't think that's the federal government's decision, I mean they don't own the political parties.

Why shouldn't it? I mean the only thing I have against it is that 50 states is a great number and 51 will trigger extreme OCD in me, plus we'll have to change out like a million flags, but those are hardly good reasons.

I guess so. Civ V is way better so I never play 6 anymore but I also got 100 hours out of it so its still a good game in and of itself. Not nearly as good as 5...

Well as a youngster whose never dated you should take this with a grain of salt, but my philosophy is to be yourself, and if it doesn't work out then that's actually good. It would be bad to set unrealistic expectations and then when you have been together for a long time fail to meet them. Familiarity breeds contempt...

I would much rather have someone who is more righteous but that was not the point. I don't think the Democratic party is super righteous right now either, so given the choice between 2 candidates who do things my religion would teach against I'd rather take the one with policies that often align closely with my beliefs than a candidate who's policies usually blatantly contradict them. But I certainly understand how'd you'd arrive at this point.

I won't go about listing off everything, but their policies on abortion, religious freedom, and LGBT+ rights are important to me. I won't get into details unless someone asks, but I think you can infer a lot from the fact that I am an evangelical.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "2020 Presidential Candidates"

I'm not crazy about any of them (including Trump), but my ideology is much closer to that of Trump than any of the democratic candidates and I think that a lot of the policies that a lot of the democratic candidates would put in place would be really bad for the economy. Overall I'm likely to vote for Trump if only to keep far-left candidates out of office.

So now instead of the people having student debt the government can have student debt...that might be an improvement but it's still not exactly ideal. Let's be honest our government needs to reduce spending, not take on multi-trillion dollar plans.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Naming a Computer"

Just think of something that is cool and name it after that. For example when I was building my computer me and my brother had been talking about 4D shapes a lot that day so I decided to name my computer 'The 4th Dimension'.

Also, you don't really have to name a computer. If you want to name it just because its page on PCPP will require a title, you could just call it something descriptive ie budget gaming PC, build for my brother, etc.

When the teacher does an example write it down in your notes. Later on, when you have time, practice it on other problems (try to find some good ones online probably), make sure you check to make sure your work is right. If you run into problems google them, if you can't find out email your teacher or post a thread asking for help somewhere (probably not PCPP though since most of us aren't exactly college professors). That way you get some practice before the test and are more ready.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you. When she said 'father' she doubtlessly meant Organa because she might not have even known she was adopted, and she definitely didn't know that Vader was her father, and George Lucas hadn't decided that yet either.
