It's been a while since a Titan X has been on the frontpage of PCPP. Crazy how much more powerful our GPUs have become. +1

You've got a really good setup there, also the desk and peripherals and everything. I also like the fanart and posters. I would suggest that you do the cable management better on the inside, bout you did mention that the case is difficult to work it. You can be proud of this dope build +1

Dumb comment, I'm sorry. It's current top of the line hardware, even if it might need a GPU upgrade in 6 years, it will definitely last a long time. You don't always need cutting edge tech

My guess is that the dual core (instead of a quad core) processor would hold it back a bit. But I would be super interested in the benchmarks as well

Super clean budget build you got there! About the GPU, have you looked online to see if others have the same issue? I have always had great experiences with Gigabyte cards, and they are usually a lot quieter and don't run that hot (given workload and ambient temp). Maybe it's slightly faulty, or you have to experiment with the fan curves and maybe some settings via MSI afterburner or the equivalent. If not, maybe send it back?

Nice build! I had the same case but only a 4690K and a 1070, but no liquid cooling. This case is absolutely amazing and the mod job of the external radiator is a clever idea! I never got around to posting my build, but hopefully others can see the potential of this case.

Nice build, clean mean, and the red is a nice touch. One question though, why did you put the cpu cooler like that? Wouldn't rotating it by 90° have better airflow?

Look at the little doggo! +1 right away.

If you definitely want to go with Volta, and don't want to spend a lot of money, then used parts would be worth looking into. What resolution / quality / fps do you want? Depending on the prices, anything 1060 and up will be fine and still have nice graphics.

When my boss offered me a budget for a PC as a bonus

Where do you work, and are they hiring? All jokes aside, this thing looks nice and clean! We need more pictures!

For your choice in monitor, it depends how much you want to spend. I can recommend a 21:9 ultrawide, but they only go up to 100Hz, and those are quite pricey. You can get 60Hz and 75Hz ones for cheaper, but that depends on if you want to trade resolution for refresh rate. A nice 27inch, 1440p monitor with nice colors will also be a joy for your eyeballs.

Remember: More pics! +1

Nice build! I too build my PCs (and that of my friends) so that they can upgrade if need be. If you want a new case, go for it, but as long as cable management and airflow is good, it doesn't matter if the motherboard sits snugly. One of my PCs is also ATX and a tight fit, but it works perfectly fine.
