It's been a while since a Titan X has been on the frontpage of PCPP. Crazy how much more powerful our GPUs have become. +1
You've got a really good setup there, also the desk and peripherals and everything. I also like the fanart and posters. I would suggest that you do the cable management better on the inside, bout you did mention that the case is difficult to work it. You can be proud of this dope build +1
You're a really awesome parent and sharing your passion for PCs with your son is something he'll always remember and cherish. :)
It must be a great feeling to build a PC on company budget. Good luck with your new job!
This is honestly the coolest build I have ever seen! Everything is customized and done with care. Congrats!
Dumb comment, I'm sorry. It's current top of the line hardware, even if it might need a GPU upgrade in 6 years, it will definitely last a long time. You don't always need cutting edge tech
Why is the CPU cooler listed and shown as the Corsair H55, but the pics say otherwise?
My guess is that the dual core (instead of a quad core) processor would hold it back a bit. But I would be super interested in the benchmarks as well
Nice config of parts, but you need to seriously clean up that cable management
Super clean budget build you got there! About the GPU, have you looked online to see if others have the same issue? I have always had great experiences with Gigabyte cards, and they are usually a lot quieter and don't run that hot (given workload and ambient temp). Maybe it's slightly faulty, or you have to experiment with the fan curves and maybe some settings via MSI afterburner or the equivalent. If not, maybe send it back?
Looks sleek and clean! Congrats on your first build!
Solid and clean build you got there! :)
Nice build! I had the same case but only a 4690K and a 1070, but no liquid cooling. This case is absolutely amazing and the mod job of the external radiator is a clever idea! I never got around to posting my build, but hopefully others can see the potential of this case.
Awesome build and awesome parts. Congrats on the sobriety as well. +1
It's software related. Maybe check all drivers or post a ticket on the support page?
Please add more pictures! This beauty needs to be admired +1
Hackintosh's are so great. I am glad you got yours working!
It looks great! mITX is a bit challenging but super fun to do.
The build is sleek, awesome, and has room to be upgraded. Absolutely awesome! The video timelapse really is the icing on the cake. Great job!!
This is the most beautiful build I have seen. It's like the Snow White of PCs!
What is that awesome keyboard, and where do I get it! Nice build +1
OMG THE KITTY!!! That is one sweet build and super clean. And for the love of custom PCs, please do try your hand at custom water cooling, especially if you have the skills! But enjoy gaming for a bit before you dissasemble everything. +2 if I could.
That is one small build. I love SFF and while mine is on the bigger end of things (Silverstone Raven), it has been a wonderful challenge to build. How are the temperatures of the CPU and GPU?
Nice build, clean mean, and the red is a nice touch. One question though, why did you put the cpu cooler like that? Wouldn't rotating it by 90° have better airflow?
+1 for the cat pic :) It also is a sweet build!
You are an excellent parent and I wish the world had more people like you. I hope your kid(s) appreciate all that you do for them and that you feel happy giving them the best you can. +1
Your kids are lucky to have a parent like you. Put a smile on their faces. :) +1
Nice clean build. I do have a stupid question: do you sit on the ball instead of a chair? Is that comfortable?
Look at the little doggo! +1 right away.
If you definitely want to go with Volta, and don't want to spend a lot of money, then used parts would be worth looking into. What resolution / quality / fps do you want? Depending on the prices, anything 1060 and up will be fine and still have nice graphics.

Where do you work, and are they hiring? All jokes aside, this thing looks nice and clean! We need more pictures!
For your choice in monitor, it depends how much you want to spend. I can recommend a 21:9 ultrawide, but they only go up to 100Hz, and those are quite pricey. You can get 60Hz and 75Hz ones for cheaper, but that depends on if you want to trade resolution for refresh rate. A nice 27inch, 1440p monitor with nice colors will also be a joy for your eyeballs.
Remember: More pics! +1
Nice build and congratulations on the budgeting! Getting those deals and buying smart should be commended much more often than it is. How is the Core V1? +1
Happy Birthday to your Mom! Nice build and the Cryorig cooler looks absolutely nice. I know the Phanteks case is gorgeous, but why did you choose that one over a more compact case? Superb build! +1
A 6950X and 1080ti and you're still at 1080p, 60fps? I would get a monitor that can use the full potential fo the hardware! How is the WD Gold? The fans and case look beast!
This is one amazing build! I am very envious and also happy to hear that somebody else takes their PC with them while traveling. Airport security loves me. What TV are you using as your main display? Your studio looks fantastic.
Instead of being a fanboy for either AMD or Intel, ask "why did you choose that CPU?" or "why this one vs. xxxxxx CPU". Phrasing man!
I get that reference. Moneypenny got away with that one. :)
+1 for the cat in the second picture! In all seriousness though, nice build. It looks mean and clean. And the orange internals look great!
Amazing build! It looks nice and sleek. I am a bit surprised that the Wraith cooler works as well as it does. It definitely looks cool though, especially in that orientation. Next time you can also post a pic of your cat (I saw the scratching post and was curious :) ).
Nice build! I too build my PCs (and that of my friends) so that they can upgrade if need be. If you want a new case, go for it, but as long as cable management and airflow is good, it doesn't matter if the motherboard sits snugly. One of my PCs is also ATX and a tight fit, but it works perfectly fine.
Cats & computers: what's not to like? +1
