how did you get the cpu overclocked? I am considering getting this cpu for my strict budget and wanting to twitch stream.. that xeon would save me about $70 which i could save towards a gpu upgrade.

no prob. The motherboard is all around pretty good.. has enough usb ports for all me needs, overclocks my current cpu nicely. Planning on upgrading my cpu to the i7 4790k around Christmas time!

my boot speeds aren't as good as i think they should be. Takes me about 1 minute to get to desktop. Idk if my hdd is just starting to show its age or not (hdd is about 4-5 yrs old). The motherboard is pretty good.

Don't lie, your brother got banned on here and pcpartpicker warned me about him scamming me. 1. He provided a fake tracking number for shipping. 2. when i asked for him to provide picture of receipt from shipping for proof he never would provide it. 3. been 11 days now and still no cpu. So stop calling me a scammer when your brother is the scammer.

OK, I will need to get myself a fan controller and some more fans. I don't mind the noise much, if it ever gets bothersome, i'll just get some Noctua fans

my cpu is the intel pentium g3258 OC'd to 4.6 ghz stable. I looked further into my ram and no problems on the test, but on the motherboard website on compatible ram, it doesn't list what i have. So my ram could be good and my pc crashing due to motherboard not supporting my ram? but ram shouldnt affect video's tho? youtube videos are blacked out with barely visible outlines and i have to reload it 1-3 times until the video works properly

switched out my ram from slots 2 and 4 (didnt realize they were in that spot) and put them in 1 and 3 and havent had any issues so far.. So my thought is that slot 2 or 4 is not functioning right.
