This, but -$300
Os, NVENC with the 1660, SSD Storage, and a sound card.
As for the wifi, you can pick a wireless adapter for less than $20
I would go with an r7 2700x and an Asus prime x570 for upgrades, and maybe a new cooler
What are your current specs?
If you dont get a board replacement, I’d get this
Under 900$, perfect for VR, and A lot of RGB because it heavily
effects gaming performance
(Obv a joke)
Same thing, but with more ram and a gpu downgrade
1k with OS
2700x has 8 cores and 16 threads for productivity
2060 is a good gpu overall
16 GB of ram should be enough
SSD for a boot drive and HDD for everything else
It is way overkill, but why not with the budget. 4 more cores and a higher
Here is what I did
I chose the Lian Li case because of RGB
Dont need the extra fans, the AIO will take up the front 3 so get only 1 pack
Bumped gpu down to 2080s cuz you can barely tell the difference at 1440p. At 4k, a slight difference.
Some of your parts dont have prices, he wants an AIO and 2080 gpu too.
This is the best thing you will get with as much rgb crammed into it. Also, what is ypur budget and location? OS/Peripherals needed?
(I jus made that list with no budget)
OS needed? Location?
Probably either damage in shipping or something messed up in manufacturing.
PCPartPicker Part List
Literally just 14 cents under budget

Also you need all the parts but the case to check if it works
You can’t, but what ypu can do is buy them all at once so that if they dont work, you can return them. What he is saying is that if you buy the gpu forst and it has a 6 month warranty, after 6 months you have everything but the gpu isnt working. If you had bought it all at once, you could
return it. If you buy the parts 1 by 1 though, you cant return some things if the return date expired.
Nvidia’s RTX gpus are as much AMDs mid-high tier ones. If you were ONLY gaming, i would go with the 5700 or 5700xt. However, because you are streaming, you should go for an Nvidia Gpu because it has NVENC coding which is far better than x264 which is cpu coding.
You can get a ryzen 5 and stream off the gpu, but it has to be an nvidia gpu
Any msi board that has MAX in the name is ryzen 3000 ready for sure.
Lol that might bottleneck
What would you suggest other then the k552? I prefer red switches of any kind.
Lol just run windows free and save 100$
Lol he said budget does not matter so just get the best things you can find lmao
He wants a Titan in his build. Also if he is not going to game at all then I would go with a threadripper. For his needs though your build is sufficient.
He said to not put the cooler in the list, and the compatibility test only gives x99 chipset mobos.
I put this together just now, will adjust later after replys.
If you want a non-server cpu, I would go ryzen for the extra cores. If you dont mind a server cpu, I would go for a Xeon chip.
Also, is water cooling included in the 10k? Also, if you can wait some time, Threadripper 3rd gen will come out and i would wait for that.
(Assuming that it is USD)
Just wondering, why did you buy a seperate cpu cooler? The 3700x comes with a Wraith Prism LED heatsink.
Location? If your budget is in USD then you're probs not gonna get 1080p with NO lag. Or at least I cant think of anything that will.
You might have to extend your budget to 500-600 USD.
I would put in a little better gpu, and lower the ram to 3000. Also no need for an nvme drive that mig. Just get a 128 GB one for a bot drive and a hard drive for storage
I agree with you, 6k is more than enough for an overkill build. I’d not get unnecessary parts just to meet the budget and put that money towards other things. The problem with meeting the budget when you don't have to is that you get a bunch of unnecessary things that can be matched easily for a cheaper price. Its like getting a 1060 (non-ti) for 7k (its on pcp, search Gainward Phoenix 1060). You can put that extra money to buy something else, like better speakers or a new monitor.
If i were you I would go with Corsair RAM instead just so it is compatible with the ICUE software
No problem! With that build you have about 2.5k CAD for expansion. Maybe more storage, or peripherals. Also the reason i wend AMD is because you are video editing and other stuff like that. If you want more gaming performance than anything else, I would go with the i9 9900k.
If you don’t mind building in a NZXT case then this is good. Is mostly black and white, but you can change the lighting. Also with a 8000 CAD budget i would go for a custom water loop though. Also I put a 240 NVME drive for the boot drive.
So will the B450-F Gaming need a BIOS Flash?
Would the Ryzen 5 3600 be ok for that too? And also do i still need to update the BIOS if i do so? I keep on seeing that the 3600 "isnt compatible" with B450 chipsets. Also thank you very much.
