Patience my friend! youll get it eventually.

As for my gpu and cpu temps in idle my cpu is at 43c generally and my gpu sits at 37c, underload if i'm playing OW or something my gpu sits at 80c~ and my cpu won't go past 70c. all this is with the panels up

I feel you dude, once i realized the riser cable was the issue I was stuck deciding whether to drop the shift and get a new case or find a new solution.

As for the cooling issues, nope! none at all. I have yet to overheat, the RX 580 does run hot but not so hot to the point where i'm stuttering and overheating. If anything the GPU just gets noisy.. i'd be curious to see what undervolting it would do..if i figure out how..

Hey! this riser cable from Aliexpress is actually maliable so you don't have to worry about using a hair dryer. The wait was..id say 3-4 weeks. the tracking was kinda unreliable since when I got it on my doorstep it stated it was on it was in the air from china to america. It wont take long at all, patience, my friend.

Ayy, thanks man!

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Gen3-0-PCI-E-16x-To-16x-Riser-Extender-PCIe-Cable-For-PHANTEKS-ENTHOO-Evolv-Shift/32845509787.html was where I got the riser cable. It's been doing well and haven't had any problems since owning it! Idk if phanteks has fixed their riser issues by now but a lot of people encountered this for their shifts.

The case can def fit 140mm fans. You should be able to fit 3 in there but it'd be a tight fit

Given the tdp on my cooler is 95w I'd suggest the Cryorig C7 Copper edition. The tdp on that is 115 which would be great for your 105 tdp 2700x. I'm actually ordering one of those coolers now to see if it'd cool my 1700x even more

I thought about it but given the air cooling does the job and very silently as well I didn't think it'd be necessary. I don't plan to OC either so I'm fine. The Kraken looks dope though!

As for the case itself, yeah the smaller case has slightly less premium build in the sense that the top and bottom lids are plastic vs aluminum on the bigger version...you can in theory replace the lids with the aluminum if you ask Phanteks to ship out those parts for a fee.

Yo this is crazy awesome!, it looks so good! I like how you added holes on the front panels for better flow..can't understand why phanteks designed it that way..

I too have been having riser issues on my build. I recently ordered a Gen 3 riser from Bestar on Aliexpress. It hasn't come in the mail just yet but when it does I'm hoping itll fix my shift.

Ohh i gotcha. Upright may be optimal though given the length of cables and utilizing that remaining space for fans or a radiator may be the best given the case's size and all but def post a build if you do it the other way, i'd wanna see that!

Only SFX PSU's will fit inside the smaller Shift, anything bigger won't get in there. As for the CPU cooler im not too sure given i have no experience with it but given the way the screws look on the CPU fan idk if that'll compromise the cpu fan cooler itself.
