Thanks. No, I didn't custom spray paint the case. There was one point where I was considering doing so but then I realised that there was no real point to it other than some mild aesthetic improvement. If you're thinking about painting the case, make sure you buy the right paint, otherwise it just doesn't look good.
Hi, there are 3 or 4 system fan ports and there are 2 CPU fan headers on the motherboard. If you're looking to get this motherboard, I would highly recommend it.
That's the coolest build I've seen in ages. It's a really cool concept and I like how it has a custom loop too! If this doesn't get featured, I'll start pulling my hair out.
Ok, here's the link to it: https://www.amazon.com/TCBunny-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl-Black/dp/B0059XCVVO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475115679&sr=8-1&keywords=Carbon+fibre+wrap
Yeah I'm thinking about doing that soon in the future. I will just get all red extension cables though as I really like the look of them.
Damn, that's one expensive set of peripherals. It's a great combo though, I reckon you'll be really happy with all of that stuff!
I think I might have a bit of trouble putting carbon wrap on the CPU heatsink. I'm not sure how I would wrap it with the top of the heat pipes in the way. I could try it, unless there is some sort of easy way I can wrap it?
That's actually where I got the idea from. The SSD's are OCZ Trion 100's, so they are blue and white, which doesn't fit my colour scheme at all.
Thanks! Glad to see a fellow Aussie. I'm using the Razer DeathStalker 2013 Essential for my keyboard and the Razer DeathAdder 2013 as my mouse. And I've got a Razer mousepad too. The keyboard has no backlighting though and the mouse can only light up green. In future, I'm thinking of getting an extended mousepad, a Corsair Strafe RGB keyboard and a SteelSeries Rival 300 mouse. If you have the money, I would definitely get those or whichever ones you want. I would recommend getting a keyboard with RGB lighting too.
Yeah, maybe the H7 would've been a better choice. I don't think it was actually available in any stores at the time plus the CPU cooler I have now was like $35 so it was pretty cheap.
I literally just found out. Overpriced IMO but still cool.
I've currently got the Canon Rebel T5i/EOS 700D. I do want to get a 50mm lens it's just they're very expensive in Australia but I know that they give great depth of field shots! Thats why I'm aiming for one.
The monitor is the BenQ RL2455HM 24" monitor.
Thank you for your helpful response! I did see that they were a bit overexposed, but I realised too late. My light source in that room is actually a big window and it was a very bright day at the time, which is why it looked like it did at times. I'll definitely try out your advice in future though, it seems like you like you know what you're doing!
Yeah, I will definitely be getting extensions in the future. I've thought about painting it and I don't really really know if it's worth it. As bee66 said I could get red corsair SP140's and put them on it if I wanted a cleaner look.
Yeah, I've been thinking about that, however, id rather save the money for an AIO cooler instead.
Hi, here's the Kylo wallpaper: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/134727416038817792/196496030278090753/kyloren1920x1080.png
It's in 1080p but I think there is an ultra wide version too
Hi, sorry for the late response. For GTA V, this build is great. It gets 60FPS at very high settings (without MSAA or FXAA and stuff like that tho). I would recommend getting a 1060 over the R9 380 though as it is only a little bit more money and it outperforms a 980.
I bought some carbon fibre vinyl wrap from amazon, cut some out to fit the SSD's and stuck it on.
Yeah. I'm a student so unfortunately I don't have lots of money right now and I can't seem to be able to find any full PSU sleeved cables that are compatible with my power supply. Also, thanks for noticing my pictures! I put a lot of effort into them. I use the Canon Rebel T5i/EOS 700D and I just used the standard 18-55mm lens which gave surprisingly good results.
Yeah, all that really matters to me in terms of cable management is not seeing all those cables everywhere in the side with the window. As long as the side panel fits over the cables on the back, I'm happy!
Thanks! The build in the S340 was amazing. While cable management is good, it can be a bit of a squeeze at times. I love that it has SSD mounts at the front, it gives you an opportunity to make them look really cool.
So first of all, what constitutes it as bad? The opinion of someone who has no part in the build process of this PC? No, I didn't think so. Secondly, the whole point of showcasing your completed build on PCPartPicker is exactly that, showcasing it. It also says in the comment guidelines "to keep your comment polite and constructive, especially if commenting on part choices and possible alternatives." You've followed neither of those rules and gone out and given me a straight up criticism. The least you could do is actually make your comment useful so I could do something about whatever problem you may think I have.
This is an epic build! +100000. This should definitely be featured in my opinion.
+1 for the GPU man! You don't see to many R9 Nano's! How's that CPU cooler performing for you?
Would this be the paint you used?
Nice build man! +1 for the CPU cooler and the case. What type of paint did you use to paint the S340? I have the same case and I think it would be awesome if I could paint it too!
