About me: 36 year old IT systems manager of a law firm. Not a massive gamer, but I try to keep up with my son who is nearing 10 and can outpace me on just about any video game these days. Computers are my hobby, I enjoy building them, taking them apart, tuning them and generally keeping abreast of cutting edge technology. VR looks to be an exciting area of development, and my recent build I'm hoping will be a good platform to explore what that has to offer as it develops. The consoles are pegged at a state in time performance wise, PC's are really where it's at for bleeding edge performance. It's a shame the gaming eco-system hasn't really matured, and Steam hasn't really taken off in the way I thought it would. The barrier of entry to gaming on a PC is still quite high unless you're a PC enthusiast.
