Beautiful SFF PC! I discovered Taobao recently, and have fallen in love with all their small cases. Question, you think an 230mm gpu would fit very tightly, or no chance? 226 is the length you say, and I'm hoping for a miracle, would really love to get an 5700xt on this.

Sorry for the very late response, don't frequent this site as much as I used to. Well, you say this would be his configuration for a "long time"? How much is that, couple of years? Because it was budget and "good enough" 2 1/2 years ago, but now and the future? Mhhhm... The G4560 and 1060 3GB go nicely together, no bottleneck or problems with any games. I gamed quite a bit, some intense stuff like AC Odyssey with like 45-55 fps, and some COD (new 2019 too) games with stable 60-70 fps. Is it completely out of the question for him to build a new PC? For like $350 max he can get a beast PC. Or maybe get a little bit more money and get a 580, much, much better card than 1060 6GB and 3GB.

I built that PC during the mining craze, I also had a budget of $600, do u have any idea how damn expensive the 570 and 580's were in the mining craze? Buying a GPU in those days was hell, even moreso for the AMD cards. Yeaaah bud I should have bought a 580 for $380 back then, silly me! Context matters kid!

Do not for the love of god get a 1050 when 570's exist. Here in amazon u can get a new one for $99, drawback is the dvi-d only connection (ez fix with an adapter), it'll perform just as good. Here is a vid showing u how good it is for the price - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1blVVZqg4RE&t=481s

Getting a 1050ti in 2019...Why, 570s exist, they are cheaper, and give so much better performance. But nonetheless great build! This case still haunts me, it has been close to 4 years and have yet to find it. Is my dream case, to bad they have been discontinued.

This is a very good build, $700 is good, the cpu, the cooler, and the ram really help it out. The only reason it aint worth more is that 480 4gb and the storage, really holding it back :/

If $120 aint expensive to you than you're luckier than me bud, Ima broke college ******. I'm also currently in need of a car, cuz my ******* 98' mirage is hitting the shitter. I dont like intel for their business practices, i think they sell their stuff overpriced and u need to buy new motherboards with every new cpu generation, unlike ryzen. Also micro atx 450's go for about 50-70 in some cases, that is more my style lol I dont need anything fancy u know.

I just barely have any space, I could barely fit a teen bed in my bedroom. The idea of custom loops is but a dream to me lol Custom looped mini itx cases tho are the sexiest thing. Funny seeing ya posting on this topic tho, as u can see i did not find my am4 mini itx, so i just plunged harder into intel hell, even tho i dont want to. My lil baby g4560 needed to be replaced either way.

Nobody buys used cases, it very hard to ship them too. I absolutely detest big cases, I think mini itx is the future, u dont need big cases to have an amazing computer, it was my first build but i knew I wanted Itx. If I were to buy a micro atx it would have to be as small as possible, I have looked at the Inwin 301, but buying the case ($69), ryzen cpu ( $160) and the motherboard ($60-80), is big investment for me.

Well my case is mini itx lol

I don't know what I'm willing to pay really, all I know is that the $120 is the cheapest board retail, I think that is a bit high, looking at the microatx and atx prices that start around $50 for the same chipset

Do you have one? Are you selling?

All of this people telling you that the g4560 its bottlenecking the 1060 6gb might be right, but truth be told, for that price I would have gone for it too. These cards are running around $300 to $400 right now is nuts. This cryptomining mess is truly ruining gpu prices. I'd say thank god you got ahead of the curve, cuz this prices are going to keep increasing. Your are perfectly set up for upgrading in the future. Get an extra stick of 8gb ram, and get a i5 7500, the PC will reach it's full potential there. Overall is a great build, congrats on your first adventure in pc building, you did great bud!
