Yeah the ram was the biggest splurge but i decided if i was gonna spend 100+ dollars on ram it had to be rgb.
Ive used 7 copies from ebay all worked and have been for years
Very nice i agree with this build
What is your budget?
First! Nice build what's your 21:9 performance?
Honestly not much you can do except add like a 750 ti or 950 that doesn't need external power.
I don't reccomend that monitor its very very small and also switch out the gpu for this https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-GV-N1080G1-GAMING-8GD-Graphics/dp/B01GJEE9BG if you want a bit more power
Woops lol add 30 dollars to that
pcpartpicker Here ya go! The 1080 is a placeholder for a custom msrp card of the 1070 when that releases really soon. This build will be insane for gaming as the 1070 is pretty much a Titan x. This should last you a long time as if the need arises you can upgrade on the same mb to the new kaby lake or better skylake processers as the motherboard is overclockable. The ram is also very fast and reasonably priced ddr4. As for the psu not much to say as its certified and made by evga. Lastly the case is a really nice deal right now as it has a really interesting aesthetic and great airflow! Good luck and welcome to the pc master race!
Where did you get those 980 ti's for that price?
Here I am with a $100 gtx 680 and I'm also 13
Maybe in a month a gtx 1060 will come out and I can fit that in the budget so before you start building pm me and I may be able to get an even better deal for you! And if you have any questions just ask me!
I second this but change the 970 to a cheaper r9 390
pcpartpicker take a look at this. This has everything you want but with 16gbs if ram.
I would 100% recommend you don't go with the Cisco one. Firstly the case is cheap with terrible airflow. The motherboard is also cheap and can't take any more ram upgraded ever. The psu is also really unreliable and will fail on you after this kind of time period. I'll be back with a 800 doller build that includes the 6700 and 16 gb of ram.
I would say you would only need an i5 I can make a build that I think you would like for the best price I can and is all you will need.
Why waste the money on an overclockable motherboard with a locked processor?
pcpartpicker Take a look at this. I decided to go with a nice looking reliable motherboard that is non overclockable along with the i7 6700 because it saves money and the overclock isn't really necessary for your needs. I have 32gb of ddr4 as it seemed you wanted that (16gb would be plenty in my opinion) I threw in a 950 as it will allow you to play the games you want for a while. The case is really nice to build in and use and the power supply is fully modular and reliable. I decided for boot use your ssd and have a 2tb hdd for mass! Welcome to pc building!
Hmm i think that you will need something like a 950 because your cpu will bottleneck almost anything so it's your choice if you want to upgrade to a 6300
I would say new gpu and/or an fx6300. What's your budget?
Hate to break it to you but you can run fsx on a potato
The lowest I would possibly go with this combo is 750ti
Hmm he says he would totally do that but I nor him don't know at all what to buy
That's two 980 ti's
Robbaz come to mind for anyone else?
390 4gb doesn't exist
My h110 doesn't do that so I would recommend rmaing it because it could be a major pump problem and you may see your temps skyrocket
I would save up more for the 980 ti because oh boy it's way more worth it. Also the you can do a build with 4790k 16gb of ram and 980 ti for about 1100-1400
Hmm, my favorite game would have to be from the depths. I got it and imediatly got sucked In for 70 hours. That game has a huge learning curve but it's absolutely phenomenal. Other games that are good would be the witcher 3 or mgsv.
That psu unit I would change. If you see any good deals on any jump on it because better safe then sorry. Look up the tomshardware psu tier list to find a good one.
Hmm I'm gonna guess it's mod compatability so delete some that you don't need and see if it works
Yes but just graphical steam mods
All the way down dude its untitled with no description
Let me link you http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16814999039
And on the evga you can change the light color with colored film
You have two cards why did you buy a three way? Just get a two cars lomg
Well it sounds like you touched the blade which it would obviously break then. As for sli bridges it really doesn't matter hard or soft ugly or pretty. Matters mostly on if your happy with it currently or you want that extra flare of a fancy sli bridge.
Yeah that's entirely normal they do that for about 10-20 seconds first boot and after that usually 2-5 just at boot up then they go silent
Hmm I've had a gtx 480 580 680 and none of them ever were defective so it's really really rare for that to happen
810 dollars payed apparently
Not very but I can almost ensure you that both of those gpus are fine
interesting that it was as Asus is usually good about that. I'm quite excited for this build though!
Upload this thing man!!!!!
This is a nice first build!!!! In the future the only real thing you have to upgrade will be the gpu as you have left yourself perfect on everything else. I say In the future you can change things around how you like and maybe with a gpu upgrade eventually this will last a good 4-6 years!
Looks like assassins creed of some kind.
Hmm if it is I would say ram the board but that could take a long time. Try with other slot combos.
