Kabylake has minimal performance over Skylake for the price increase.

It's the cheapest black RAM there is what are you talking about.

Again, cheapest SSD in comparison to some SATA SSDS that are $10-$20 more.

I have the exact PSU and it's going one year strong.

Your comments make no sense.

Could spend a little more and get a M.2 or PCI-E SSD instead for faster speeds. Or something bigger. I have a 120GB and barely use half of it as a gamer but installing games on my HDD

The most I do is browse stuff on Chrome or change songs on iTunes with my second.

Also another important thing I use my second one for is PC performance monitor through rainmeter, just so I can keep an eye on things and what not.

Yes but I mean like 21:9 monitors that aren't really curved. Is there a big difference between extra-widescreen curved and non curved?

(I know 99.9% of monitors are widescreen)

Most of the 1080 monitors I found either didn't look as good or was already getting into the price range of the 1st monitor. I'm just going to look at widescreen I think instead, I've got time to do more research. thanks for the tip

I would defiantly have it be same size and company, I'm looking at 1080's right now

I literally didn't even think of the fact I won't be using the second monitor to its full potential :D

However it might bug me if they aren't matching, but it certainly won't bug my wallet so I'll make that sacrifice

YouTuber's are part of the problem too, they hype up these ****** games and line the pockets of Activision execs.

I bought Black Ops 3 thinking it would be better but I was sadly wrong, I won't be buying COD: IW and I'm sure a lot of other people won't either and that is going to bite Activi$ion in the ***

Comment reply on Forum Topic "how do i hook up 4 fans when i only have 3 fan slots on the motherboard?"

  • 1 point

Didn't bother to check if CPU_FAN OPT was working and could control basic curves since I thought this whole time you would be able to individually control each fan, but I ended up moving it anyway and nearly took the OPT header out and had to get some needle nose pliers and lightly pull out on that, took me 20 minutes to try to get it out otherwise.

Thanks I guess, I can notice a difference now when swapping from Silent to Full speed. Just wish that you could control all the fans individually without having to plug each one into a CHA fan slot. thanks anyway

Comment reply on Forum Topic "how do i hook up 4 fans when i only have 3 fan slots on the motherboard?"

Really? Not fans individually. I'll try when I get home to change it but you know how in QFAN control in BIOS you can disable certain fans to see which ones are in which position? None of the fans turn off for me. And I can't really notice a change in speed or airflow when increasing or decreasing them.

They are all 4 pin since its a Z170. CHA_Fan didn't work and currently CPU OPT isn't working either so

Yeah I know. CPU fan is plugged into CPU_Fan, I can control the CPU fan. The Motherboard and Case manual said to plug it into the CPU_OPT header. It used to be plugged into a CHA_Fan # and still did not work.
