Thanks!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
its The Human Solutions Uplifthttp://www.thehumansolution.com/height-adjustable-standing-desk-frame-2-leg.html
i went without the desktop so i could make my own, which is just a ¾ inch pine piece of wood. i choose wood because it was easy to drill holes for the wires of my various peripherals. having a standing desk is a game changer!! especially as i use my desk for both work & gaming, so sitting for long periods can get uncomfortable.
i have the same case and noticed you were looking for a "rolling pedestal" link below is what i use for mine, works perfectly, the only issue is you can't slide out the bottom dust covers. on my build i have two exhaust on bottom so not an issue as i just open up the side panel to clean it every couple of weeks.
really nice build. i have same case, you have done it justice!!
nice build! i have same case, love it ;)
really nice build. i like what you did utilizing that case, nicely put together.
how do you like the intel 750?
any cooling issues?
very nice build.
this case is frign amazing! i was a little skeptical when i ordered it as i thought it might be overkill; however i'm glad i got it! its a beast, first of all it weighs approx 50 lbs empty! but it offers so much flexibility and functionality. i can't imagine a build that you couldn't get to work well in this case, its that good. i suspect i'll have this case for many many years, its just awesome. building in it is a joy, so much room physically, and allows you to really be creative in how you want to build out your rig. you will not regret getting it, its world class - keep me updated.
lemme know how your overclocking goes ;)
awesome. i actually don't really have a problem w the looks, actually i kind of like it - its a lil bit of an industrial theme, i wonder if you could incorporate that into other parts of the build.
nice job none the less.
i don't use stickers, but i do use the metal badges, i have 10+ of them, but they are all on the inside. on my case theres a small window that you can see them thru - i think it looks pretty damn cool ;)
looks like solid build - nice job, however my only worry is not having a liquid CPU cooler, which (and I could be wrong here) I imagine could get pretty hot running those beast GPU's!
i record with dxtory. i'm able to get 1440 @ 60FPS. i know a lot of ppl have different opinions about fraps, dxtory, OBS etc... but for me it seems to work fine and i find it very easy to configure especially as i have multiple audio recording tracks.
depends on the game, but mostly near 100FPS as thats the max the monitor can go, but during benchmarks etc... obviously a lot more than that.
what sort of lights are using?
"ridiculously expensive..." its all relative my friend ;)
lol I guess it comes down to personal preference re: titan vs 890's.
I went with the SSD's because I do a lot of recording / editing / rendering and the faster write/read times make life a lot easier and better quality.
nice build! how do you like the case? I love mine! so much space, hard not to keep adding stuff (i'm adding another ssd to mine this weekend). I really like what you did with the lighting, I think i'll try something similar - I have al lthe various component badges in the smaller window and would be great to light them up so they can be seen better.
this is my first build, and first time overclocking. I believe I could squeeze more out of the CPU but didn't want to push it. I think as I get more comfortable i'll tweak it a bit more if I feel like I need a lil extra.
I haven't even overclocked the GPU's yet... that's next... as soon as I figure it out ;)
agreed, i didn't buy it for the colors, it was functionality first. i did add some blue fans to break away from just the black & red. i'm adding a ssd and will add lot more pics then :)
thanks man, appreciate it!
ok guys, i'm adding a SSD this weekend, so i'll be sure to take more pics :)
don't judge me!! lol its for work. gotta pay for this thing ya know!
will do! i'll open up the case!
i'll put together all the specs for both PC's and peripherals ;)
the LX dual stacking by ergotron. although I only have one arm on the base, the other arm that came w it is actually behind the iMac where it supports a platform where I put my oother headset, keyboard for the PC hanging from the desk (on right).
lol yep! but I did add 3 blue fans as well to go w the CPU water cooler (which has blue lights).
guys I am new to this site, and love this community! I will take much better pics and provide a lot more details on Nerd Station "Zeus"!
thanks you for trhe heads up - much appreciated!
