If this is the case it doesn't really affect me, but its useful info if you're buying a 3gb card i guess.

It's the only monitor I've ever used so don't really have a benchmark to compare it to. I think it is great, but to give an in depth review I'd have to try out a different monitor to see how it compares. for 380$ or whatever it costs right now though, 1440p 165hz gsync...this monitor is pretty much unbeatable price wise.

thanks for the advice man. I unfortunately screwed up as I have 2 30 ft led strips running around my room, and i cut theconnection so am forced to connect the strips right where they are, making it impossible to hide the cables :(. Im building a custom keyboard next week, and will be getting a custom coiled paracord cable for it. I also prefer the nanoleafs above my bed (next to setup) because I personally can't game with bright light shining in my face, and I find it is just far enough away to not bother me.

Look for sales! newegg sometimes you can make some crazy savings, also watch youtubers like joey delgado or techsources budget build. I wouldn't cheap out on the graphics card, but make sure you dont cheap out on other parts too. I would start off by making a part list, around 1k and then tweaking parts as you do more research.

cheers

1000000000000% disagree brah. this monitor also comes in 27 inch, with a smaller screen u simply have more pixels per inch, so a more crisp clean image no matter how close you are to your monitor. The 27 inch also has more problems with light bleed, and bad colour calibration. Definitely get the 24 imo, no monitor could top this for me.

It's the IKEA MALM with the pullout section, but I took it off so it has a minimalistic modern look.

I’m curious as to why you didn’t install your cpu first, I see you have your mobo and gpu and much more installed, why not your cpu first?

Yea I live in Canada and have pretty bad rogers wifi so I’m getting about 20mb down and 10 up which is pretty much the raw speed so the wifi on this mobo is actually rlly good.

Not yet, but will in the future. my advice to you is to leave about 5-10% of your budget open as some parts I ordered were discontinued, and some cost more than i planned. GL my dude

is 27 inches too big for a monitor? I mainly play csgo and fortnite, and am debating between a 24 inch or the pg279q....would you say that 27 is a bit big or just right?

I mean if it's not a hassle i'd love to see more up front pics with the side panel off and maybe the back side with out the panel.... If it's a hassle don't worry about it, It's just that I am building a pc and have the majority of the exact parts, and wanted to see how well u got everything put together.

For a monitor i'd reccomend either the asus mg248q the asus vg278q or the msi mag24c. all 1080p 144hz 1ms response, all under 300$.

why spend 130 on a liquid cooler for a locked cpu, more than you spent on storage and almost as much as your mobo and ram... total waste imo if you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing cooler then at least get an unlocked cpu ffs
