What a fun description, kept me entertained like a short story lol!
I agree with the 1060, might balance out the CPU just a bit - otherwise good build!
What a unique set of hardware!
Love the setup.
Solid OS choice.
Solid AV Choice.
Oh yeah the computer, yeah that's pretty good too. ;p
Almost as solid as a block of ice.
Good little combo, I'm sure you're friend will enjoy.
Wipes Keyboard off
Sorry I drooled a little bit...
It has been quite some time since I've looked at the case.
I do believe there is only 1, 2.0 and 3.0 on the front, the back just depends on the mobo.
Specifically this mobo has 4 - 3.0, 2 - 2.0, and 1 - 3.1
It most certainly can, just do not expect amazing frame rates on higher settings with wildlands. BF1 is actually really playable.
For future reference, you can find most of these answers on youtube with popular tech reviewers :)
Nice part hunting, clearly I have more to learn ;p
Yeah I noticed, what's done is done. Not like he's going to miss the 4 fps though :p
The two of you are like the evil and good side of PCPP.
....what if that doesn't happen and we can all pretend that it won't, ever, and can live happy ever after :'D
Thank you so much!
+a large number
No problem! Happy gaming.
Probably the RAM, having three sticks kinda messes with things from my experience. Try taking the two 1 gigs out and running with just 8. I doubt the PSU is the issue, but I have been wrong plenty before.
I have quite the similar build (6700 4.3Ghz + Fury) I will note that I have the same card and my first one actually died a week after use, returned it and bought another. Card is working just fine, but something to keep in mind.
Others have recommended some superb options, I would personally consider the Skylake path (which includes a new CPU, Motherboard, and RAM. If you wanted to, going with Haswell is a good alt. without having to spend extra cash for new RAM. This is all up to you of course :)
Thanks! It was a good decision changing CPUs. Best of luck to you.
I didn't have the opportunity to pick one up for a good price, I'm happy with this purchase.
That was my goal! Thank you!
Depending on your video card, the drivers can be found on either AMD's website or Nvidias, note that if you are connected to the internet during the install process Windows 10 will auto install basic drivers for your GPU. It is still recommended to download them from the respectable vendor.
I had a copy lying around, previously bought it from Microsoft.
Nope, I was just being curious! :p Most people would like to see cable management; however, that's tricky in small cases >:U
Thank you! :D
The 8320 was the main reason. The price I sold the previous computer didn't allow enough money for a 290. In fact, now my frame rates are, on average, much better and stay playable more often than when I had the other system. I will be upgrading the GPU next.
Really cool case! Never seen anything like it. Do you plan on any more pictures? :p
Pretty common with these XFX cards, large coolers with no back plate.
Well done, something to be proud of!
You too man!
Entry spec rainbow god.
Yeah, that's a great way to define it.
-Motherboard throttles the CPU even at stock speeds
Overall good idea.
With that CPU I would not go above a R7 260x or R7 360.
I had purchased it a later time! Didn't have quite enough money for a solid 16 kit. Oh well :p
It fits fine, I actually no longer like the case nor use it. It did, on this mobo, block the first slot a little bit. I also don't recommend this mobo with anything greater than the FX 4000 series.
Well good job either way!
Cable management needs some work!
Looks great! Good job!
