Nice! Yeah, it really goes with her personality and she loved the compactness of the White 240 Air case lol
Thanks for the comment and the advice! Here's the link if you wanted to check her channel out and I've also posted it in the description!
Totally, she doesn't do much hardcore PC gaming but the power is there if she needs it. I've had great results with the 770 and I've been able to run most games at High-Ultra settings with 60 or close to 60fps lol
No worries! Yeah, the 770 was leftover from our other computer. Hoping to make myself a beefed up rig soon (within the next 3-4 months) with a pair of 980's! I did the measurements and the Gigabyte Windforce model should fit even with the front RAD of the H100i mounted with fans.
Thanks for the comment!
They're great! I was a little afraid that they would be too noisy (because everyone online says that 80mm fans are loud as all hell) but they're super quiet so far! I wanted to use the rubber mounts that came with them but just couldn't figure out how to put them in with the tight space I was working with in that corner.
Thanks! And yes, she uses the Wii to stream gamecube games like Animal Crossing lol
It was a little tight to be honest but definitely doable. I wanted to get the two AF120's on the top of the case as well as the 80mm Fractal fans on the left side and this proved to be interesting lol The H100i fits fine with either a pull or push config but I would be hard pressed to fit another two fans in front of it for a full push/pull config.
Just one SSD in the back of the motherboard tray! I plan on getting one more Kingston v300 240gb SSD for the back and mounting a WD Black 4tb drive on the bottom of the case (next to the one intake fan that you can't really see on the bottom) I'm not entirely sure if there are special mounting brackets that I need for it to mount to the bottom or if I can just use some rubber grommets or something, any insight?
Also, you're going to laugh but I was looking at your build ALOT before I went ahead and decided on the 450D lol I just love the way you did the UV lighting! It looks so cool with the paint on the components!
Funny that you mention that! I was actually looking at doing an mATX build and it was pretty much the EXACT same build as yours! Go figure right? I like your setup alot! Very clean! I regret not going with the AX760... I guess I just wanted to save a few bucks and go Semi-Modular instead of full on modular lol I can always change it later though! =)
I love this case!! Lots of room for expansion if I ever want to slap some more HDD's in there (I have the HDD cage out now to help with airflow) or if I ever want to go full liquid cooling! I see myself using this case for MANY years to come lol
Also! I love your build! That Sabertooth motherboard looks AWESOME with your setup! How is the 290 doing performance wise?? I was torn between the GTX 770/780 and Radeon 280/290 for a while lol
Good call! LEDs are cheap so maybe I'll slap a set of white ones in there too and turn on whichever ones I'm in the mood for! Red for nighttime gamin and white for daytime! Thanks for the tip! =)
It's actually a Sony Bravia 1080p 60hz LCD screen that we use for our normal console gaming! LOL Didn't have a spare monitor lying around but it works great for now! =)
Hoping to add a 24" 144hz Asus monitor in the future!
True, didn't need it right now but later on down the line if I wanted to put two 770's in SLI it would make sense to have this much power. Thanks for the input though! =)
