You obviously had the budget and I can safely assume you didn't type this from the local internet cafe on an old Pentium 4, so I would never call it overkill. You can become an avid game by next week, or next year. Either way you will be prepared no question about that.
I do agree with eamesj1 about the monitor. You should definitely upgrade to 1440p and you'd still be pretty much guaranteed high refresh gaming with settings maxed out with any game you play.
The Haswell CPUs were great for gaming and still are
Congrats on finishing your degree and this nice rig.
That is an amazing looking case for the price
I love that case and I love the improvements Corsair have made to it compared to the older style ones.
Nice to see a build like this featured. Great job.
More like reverse Oreo
Hey sorry about the delay. This case does not have an option to add a CD/DVD drive. You can install the OS using an external drive or by USB flash drive
Hey. I've upgraded this build since. I have Corsair SP 120s on the radiator. The Enermax fan that was on the rad is now on the top. All the fans are great.
Well deserved feature!
Baby slobber to keep the GPU cool. automatic +1
Not a fan of that heavy Corsair M65 (I have one) but everything else is amazing. Great build man +1!
Creepy cartoon ****. Never did understand the value in that
The quality of builds uploaded here compared to just a year ago is off the charts. Just amazing and add this one to the list. Incredible.
I love the PSU for any possible SLI moves later on. Great build.
Thanks. I've already updated this build you can check it out. The sleeves come from Ensourced.net
This is still one of my favorite cases. Is the top drive bay removable?
+1 I love this build and the loop itself. Is that soft tubing or hard? Please more info on the loop itself, not enough as of now lol.
Yup that's the one! Thanks for the response.
Is that the famous keyboard that Wendell at Tek Syndicate raves about? I hear that's one of the best keyboards ever made.I always forget the name.
Great money shots in the gallery. +1
That case is everything. I really like this
beautiful rig and setup +1!
Bruh what camera do you use? The pic quality is really good. +1
Man this is beautiful +1
In CPU intensive games yes. Total War games, Borderlands 2, Arma 3 is really bad, modded Skyrim just a few examples. That's why I upgraded. Check it out I have it posted.
This is beautiful. I would love to see this in the Crosair 780T. Any plans to water cool the GPUs?
This is gamer that is serious about getting best price to performance. Good job
Your desk set up is really nice
This is really gonna inspire me to do some hoodalized loop experiments. I'm impressed.
Very nice I have the same case in Black and Red
Man I love that 780T case.
Nice man I like that. Seems everyone uses 16mm
What's the diameter of the tubing?
Very unique, clean custom loop and I love the thinner tubing.
That monitor is so sexy
Congrats on being featured!
Cool cat man! I really want one but I'm allergic :(
Very nice! +1
The Define R4 is still one of the best
Thanks. Can't quite remember but the PCIE 6 pin and the 24 pin were around 30 something from Ensourced.net
They feel and look even better in person. I believe they use the same para cord found in parachutes rope. I remember pricing them against two or three other dealers. I recommend Ensourced.
Any applications or background programs that are not needed by the user can negatively effect performance. I paid full price for my Windows 10. I should not have to deal with anything in my OS that i don't want or need. it's a matter of performance and principle.
thnx and np!
Lol thanks. I have a Skylake build now and a new chair
This is amazing. No words...
lol. Yeah man it's been updated since then. New chair. Posting a Skylake build very soon.
